My old R32 is a classic example, they bloody thing is now a reliable 13.sec streeter driven everyday by the new owner, but was turbo'ed for under a grand using mostly n/a angine parts. All I got was "no it won't work blah blah blah" and in the grand scheme of things I think it's a far greater achievement because it was built in a weekend by people with next to no experience with **** all tools as a bit of fun, which by the way is why I bother owning cars.
