I have anti-lag, on an ecu that "can't" support it. That was my point.

I was more saying there's two types of "can't". There's no you can't - because it's difficult. Then there's you can't - because it's genuinely impossible. I have no idea what ecu he's running as that would require me taking more than a passing interest in the slow noise boat, which I simply don't have.

In the same way my ecu can't have anti-lag?

He hasn't got it tuned as it is now...

Pretty much went to shit when they jumped to the 2.5L motors. - not entirely fair to the 06/07's though, they seem to not be made of the same paper-mache of the 08+

My current daily STI is far nicer than my GTR ever was. It's cheaper to run and insure and so far is only 0.3sec slower down the quarter for similar mods. It also has an oil system that doesn't try and lunch my motor whenever it sees a long bend in the road. That being said, when I had the GTR I swore black and blue I'd never have one of those WRX buckets of crap. A stock wrx to a stock STI is more of a performance gap than people realise too. You wouldn't assume a GTSt was just like a GTR would you...

There's a difference between "needing" it and "using" it. If you "need" it, you're doing it wrong.
