Starts as a whirrrrrrr then an almight scream. When it's low it sounds mechanical-ish but but once it's screaming it's air and lots of it.

Possibly but they on the other side of the car (although they do plumb back over to the other side) and the car isn't running rich so I can't see it being the pressure side of things.

My GTR screams/whistles it's tits off when it comes on boost. It's not the intake pipes, been checked. It's not the Intercooler pipes, been checked. It still boosts properly and is not down on power. There is no extra exhaust noise. There is no smoke, fuel or oil. It still idles/drives perfectly except when you start to boost. The noise is akin to a giant frog humping a Boeing 747. Any ideas? I was thinking a gasket around one of the turbos (hoping) or worst case, the turbo itself (which it won't be because I said so and I am not paying for new ones so they must be fine... )

Um, the 11th is not this saturday... So is it this saturday OR the 11th???

There is always one or two old-skool SAU people at each meet, even if the don't hold a "club title" so I don't think there is an issue there. If people want to know who's doing what I'm sure is you asked you'd be told. The idea here is to enjoy your car along with fellow enthusiasts not to have each cruise logged and have a roll call each time. Sometimes the small cruises are the best cruises. Anyone can organise a get together, no one will stop you. If you organise it on here, being the forums, then it's an official meet which is why all Mt Runs etc were removed. If you are worried about treading on toes, don't, if you are out of line with an event we have forum mods for a reason. We are all here and we are all, for the most part, adults. I don't think you need Slip et al. to hold yours hands to organise a meet/cruise/bbq/whatever. It's like anything, you have your marketing-types and your behind the scenes types. Both have important roles and neither should be copping flak from the other. Go out for a drive, you'll love it. Squizz.
