    5mm is a lot of difference when choosing tyres for guard clearance. i used to own a set of cst's, dont have the pics on this comp if i remember when im on the other comp ill post em, they were 17x9.5 +15 and i ran federal SS595 215/45 all round, the rears fit with the lip rolled, the fronts were a little mexican definately needed a roll/flare or try 215/40 and a little camber.

    so you want the kool look of a drift car but the functionality of a grip car aint guna happen, 215/40 wont pop off, id go with a 215/45 though. with a 255/265 youd probably be looking at running at least 20mm overfenders. check post #138 http://forums.gtrcanada.com/gts-discussion...-thread-14.html

    stretch tyres and rolled guards will get them under, and you want 215/40 on a 9.5" wide rim for grip racing? oh dear....

    i got caught the day after in the mrs car (had no idea the rego had run out) cop said we're guna leave and you better not be here when we come back and said to pay it as soon as i got home so got lucky with the cops for once, was pretty cranky at the mrs
