  8. Thanks guys, got it all sorted, ripped the controller out again and the bal was infact stuck. Running 7psi now, i just wanted to get that boost on a little quicker. Its alot better when it comes on boost now and dusnt need as much foot or fuel to get that driveable torque thru THANKS HEAPS FOR THE REPLIES GUYS
  9. I rekn. SR's using 3071R's pull 300rwkw... Its all relative tho
  10. Thanks guys, ive taken a pic of how its setup.. I took the spring out the controller and pulled it out a tad. It boosts a bit lower now but still with the controller wound all the way out it boosting an extra 1-2psi.... very odd from my experiances with these. THANKS
  11. Yea ive dun all that, i dont understand how PHYSICALLY how it can not work now lol.. thanks tho mate Any R34 owners have pics of their setup... I found that if you plug up one of the vaccum lines from the solinoid it stops the boost gauge from working
  12. Hey guys, Ive had these turbotech boost controllers on heaps of cars, including my current S14 200sx which was solionoid controlled just like the R33 etc. Now on my R34 ive tryed hooking it up as all i want is the boost to come on sharper not actaully run anymore boost like normal but it wont work, all it dus is make the boost go more and hit about .8kgcm2 which i dont want to run! The car has a Blitz catback and apexi pod. Any ideas?? COME ON R34 OWNERS HELP ME OUT Im sure theres plenty out there using these yes... I have wound the spring right out as far as it will go and it still wont boost any lower...I wound it right in (dumb but still no change) It boosts fine when u run it back stock again THANKS for putting up with yet another turbotech boost controller thread Cheers,

  14. I got HID's in my R34. With the stock xenon headlights they look awsum, altho not very brite at all! Well they are quite bright up to a certain point on the road and then they die, about 50m ahead you can see quite well and then theres pretty much no light from that point onwards.. quite crap really. but an awsum gaybo rice look
  15. hey guys, Thanks for the replies. Ive got a few certs in Digital multimedia so yea used heaps of diffrent filters and layering, paths etc. I love doing car art like this. 17. Hey guys, Done a bit of photoshopping the rear lights on my R34. 21. Thanks guys, ill take a look at the cap, try and replace it with my S14 one or sumtn c wat happens, Cheers
  22. So maybe it is just the fuel cap then... Either way it cant be good for fuel economy or fuel pressure thru the system when driving a bit harder. Tha cars only done 40,000kms. Wierd. been in aussieland for 2 years. Has any1 replaced their R34 fuel cap b4? It should be as simple as using any newish nissan one yea? I could use my S14 cap i suspect...
  23. These days it seems like most dealers will try and find imports that have logbooks and import those as they have a higher resale here in aus, as alot of people prefer to buy a car with some retained history. Ive personally bought imports, cars with out logbooks before but they wer older cars. My S14 Aussie Spec has logbooks.. My R34 GTT dusnt have the japanese log books but has the import papers etc with kms etc. Can the R34 digital meters be tampred with easily? Would they even bother doing it..?? On GTR or something i can see why they would but..
  24. My R34 GTT smells like fuel when i start it up... Ok, say i put the key in and start it up u look back at the petrol cap and you can see petrol fumes coming from that area. Everytime i go to fill up with petrol theres no suction in there, not pressurised, as in when u undo the petrol cap it doesnt "ptshhh" lol Is it maybe a common problem others have experianced?? Theres no fuel leaking from the filler or lines etc Thanks a bunch
  25. I just did this today... Honestly cant feel any diffrence on my R34 GTT auto...weird. Im going to get it dynoed soon so will hav it dynoed with and without the mod, i might be suprised. One sign tho to see if the solinoid is actaully earthing or not with the wire you used- Start car, tap the wire on then off the bolt or bracket your fastning it to, the solinoid will make a slight "clicking" noise. All i did was splice into the black wire and attach a complete new wire coming off the spliced bit onto an earth.. So the black wire still goes into the plug aswell but is earthed BEFORE it goes into the plug.
