  1. Just pulled a 6.28 0-100kph time and 14.7 1/4mile. GTT R34 Auto, Apexi pod and Blitz catback exhaust... I dont intend to have this car any faster as i have my S14 for that lol. Just intrigued as to what a stock AUTO would do in the real world. Cheeers guys, Any1 else out there?
  2. Thanks, But yea ive seen alot of that info already. Just after specifics etc. Ive heard things like cant run over 10psi thru the stock turbos, cant run over 12psi. 14psi is fine. etcetc... if i know the specs and what they are made out of etc i can make me own judement if you guys follow what im saying lol. CHEERS
  3. Sorry to revive an old thread but only just recently i bought my R34 GTT Auto. I have a S14 SR20DET Manual also. I get around 500-600kms to a tank in the S14 and im pretty sure they have a 65L tank also. I have a few mods on this and running 10AFRS so quite rich lol. By the sounds of it most u guys just fill up when the fuel light comes on, now i no it not the best to take the tank down to the last tiny bit of fuel left init but in my S14 i got an extra 70kms to a tank without it chugging or anythn when it hit the fuel light. Are the pick ups on the stock R34 pumps high?? At the moment the fuel econmony im gettn in my R34 is a bit poo really. ONE BIG QUESTION I HAVE IS- I try use tiptronic to use the revs more when taking off at lights etc... eg. Instead of having to put your foot into it more just in nrml auto mode i take it to bout 3,000rpm in 1st and 2nd gear with HEAPS less throttle and get to the same speed about the same time. Has any1 seen a jump in better or worse doing this?????? THANKS
  4. My 98 R34 has dun 40,000kms but that very low really. 70,000kms is good, fair amount for the year and type of car. I was also in this predicament a little while ago, either a 34 25GT or a GTT. Both auto. Let me say, the auto is magic, i was VERY reluctant to get an auto GTT but the tiptronis is far beta than i thort and brings power on much much better than using nrml auto mode. Good luck searching buddy
  5. Hey guys, Ive just bought a R34 GTT tiptronic coupe. i know the basics about the car. I currently have a S14 Silvia pushing 200rwkw aswell so i am no newbie when it comes to cars. I am just wanting help in finding inforamtion about the R34 GTT's, could some 1 maybe point me in the right direction. Such things as, What turbo it has on it? What are the AR ratios? What kinda timing can you run thru them on 10psi with the stock intercooler? Are they an all alloy head and block? Do they have a crank gurdle? etcetc.. I know SR's quite well but am unfamilar with the neo RB25's and general R34 range. I like to know my cars inside and out so any help on othetr threads, FAQ's other sites etc are appreciated Ive serached the forums a few bit, but only found limited info THANKS GUYS
  6. Thanks guys! Appreciate it. I cant find any part no. etc on it at all like urs does above... All i can do i guess is hope it pumps what i need lol Thanks
  7. Hi guys, Looking for a bit of help. Ive bought a 32 GTR fuel pump from a mate. Says its brand brand new, it doesnt smell of fuel.. the filter isnt touched and it does seem brand new. Ive got some pics, can any1 help me out and identify if it is infact a genuine 32GTR pump? Putting it into my S14, only want max of 250rwkw, but will be fueling around the 220mark. Supposedly they bolt pretty much straight in? By any chance does any1 no exactly what need to be done? THANKS A BUNCH
  8. Hey guys, Done a crap load of searching and havnt come up with much except... The Nissan Skyline fuel pump has held a legendary position as the ultimate upgrade fuel pump for the VR4, reportedly flowing 310 lph at 43 psi. Unfortunately, there are no hard data to support this. Nevertheless, some of the Skyline fuel pumps (R33 stock, and HKS and A'PEXi aftermarket) would make excellent upgrade choices for the 3000GT VR4 and Stealth TT. From what I have read at various web sites, the R32 Skyline came with a 190 lph pump, and the R33 Skyline had a 195 lph pump. I am not sure about the current R34 model. In the April 2004 issue of Turbo & High-Tech Performance magazine, a stock R33 Skyline GT-R fuel pump was tested to flow 252 lph at 43.5 psi and 13.5 volts. Is this correct? Has any1 tested one? Does anyone know? I relise the R32/R33 differ. THANKS
  9. Thanks guys! Can get "GRUB SCREWS" from Conventry Fastners in SA which chris from JMS recommended when using a aftermarket mani. Appreciate the help guys. Theres plenty of room for longer studs in there... the turbo sits quite far away from the strut tower compared to a RB. Thats a bluddy good point tho... i never actaully thought about that
  10. Hey guys, Gotta take the manifold and turbo off me SR in my S14. Ive got aftermarket manifold and the bluddy studs keep coming loose on the T2 flange therefore creating a lovely exhaust leak, lag and no power down low. So i was advised to take the manifold off WITH the turbo attached and just get longer studs and fix it that way and then bolt the lot on agian. Ive got BRAIDED WATER LINES. Was just going to take the lot off, from the head manifols bolts and from the dump pipe bolts. Anything i might have a problem with etc? Any tips? The water and oil lines arnt pressurised so fluid shouldnt come out when disconnected right??? Thanks,
  11. Interesting... ive jst recently had a aftermarket mani put on. The guys that put it on stuffd up the mani and dumpipe install, had a huge exhaust leak...so they re did it agen... quite possibly they hav screwed with it whilst putting on manifold.........
  12. Hey guys. In a bit of a pickle. Got a S2 S14. After going for a drive last nite came home to relise that coolent is leaking. i just fitted an alloy radiator yesterday, works great. Didnt touch anythn to do with turbo water lines etc. Got under the car.. luks like the banjo bolt going into the turbo with the line attached is leaking.. tuk the bolt out with the copper bushes...seemed a bit mangled, so replaced the copper bushes. Still leaks! Any ideas on wether the turbo water lines can crak in certian places etc? Do the banjo bolts need to be torques correctly? Is it common to crak water lines or sumtn?? etcetc ANY HELP WUD BE AWESUM.
  13. ahuh... and how old r u? Got a dyno chart of this car if also wanted. Also fixed pics are here.. sorrys.
  14. Well one point, ECUs that dont use a AFM like a microtech etc give you more accesible power without going to the limit of the AFM, I have tho got mate using a microtech on his RB20 and still has the AFM pluged in... lol.
  15. Yea im beggining to think that HEAT plays a big part init... but still really dont explain the low AFR.. except wat OVERCENTER is sayn bout leakage. I relise that the stokie cooler is really crap, especially for the AUS climate.. I was some reason wanting to see what i cud push at the wheels using the stock cooler, but i guess with such hot weather its near impossible to break my 160rwkw mark with the stok cooler. CHeers! (mite i add that SAU has been VERY helpful, which i appreciate very much, as has BUSTY2K lol )
  16. A screaed coilpak will make it sound like a rexxy and drive very ruff.. just to give an idea.
  17. Are you running an extra injector at all? Did you get to use the standard apexi map it came with??
  18. Yea i had sparkies gapped to .7 i think, i was going to chek them cas i thort that they mite be gapped wrong.. but if they wer gapped wrong i wud expect sum type of misfiring to occur, expecially up top end..???? Cheers guys!
  19. Oh yea completly agree, its very smooth and power gain is quik compared to my stock reading.. I dont understand tho, not bragging or anythn but lastnite (on private property) got a drag between a Ceffy, VS SS and me.. i could toy around with the SS and i pulld past the ceffy quite easily also.. My S14 on road dusnt seem to be lacking tha performance... it feels like 160rwkw car!?! Also im not just a dyno queen either... i am after a balance between outright power and response, especially for a road car... 250rwkw at 7,000rpm is nuthn without response...
  20. THANKS HEEPS FOR THE HELP GUYS, much appreciated. Thought wud just post up dyno sheets tho.. AFR BOOST
  21. Hey guys, Yea it made with STOCK exhaust and with pod filter and FBU 11psi... 141rwkw.. thats healthy, and stok as rock 129rwkw with a pod lol. I was hoping for about 160-165... thats pretty good for mods i have, considering i have a manifold also. The car still pulls hard thru gears, dusnt seem like on the road the power drops off, but i havnt had the chance to take it into the 5,000rpm plus range in 4th yet to see wat it dus but. Ill post up Dyno sheet soon, After each run the power drop off seemd to get worse! First of all it dropped off, then 2nd time we tryed it agen it dropped off quiker and more! 3rd time they stopped cas i didnt want to go for anuda run.
