  1. gauge source is off the balance pipe, same as stock boost gauge location. total cost was $750 but on the invoice its split out as $600 for the tune and $150 for the EBC.
  2. Hi guys, recently got my car back from being tuned. Running -7s, built motor, bosch 023 and 1000cc injectors. Boost controlled through an evc6 (not tuned for rpm/throttle) and tuned for max of 22psi with adj cam gears (stock cam) and making 340rwkw. Im currently experiencing really bad surging at partial throttle in the high gears whilst under light boost (3-4psi) and also quite bad spiking (regularly see peaks of 24.6psi). To put it technically, its going shhh-tututututu whilst under boost partial throttle I also have an aftermaket "twin turbo pipe" with longer piping before they merge. My Wastegate boost source is also tee'd off this pipe. Any ideas what could be causing this? Is it likely to be the tune? Also is it ok to expect that the EBC would be tuned to take advantage of its full capability (i.e. Tuned for speed/rpm/throttle as well as just max boost/offset)? I was charged $150 to tune the ebc on the dyno in addition to tune costs
  3. Hi there, thanks for doing this. Could you please check: BNR32302886 Thanks
  4. cant help you with the part number, but i have a brand new apexi power intake pod (trial fitted only) and z32 adaptor for sale $80 + postage. pm us if your interested.
  5. blitz intakes sold. make an offer on remaining bits!
  6. the red stuff is high temp, sensor safe RTV silicone.
  7. the pics above only show the goo, I was however using it with the gasket (the stuff smudged everywhere when I was pulling off the pipe). dont think silicone is heat resistant enough to withstand the temps the turbo outlet would experience
  8. got a replacement with new gasket
  9. Are the -7 and stock turbo outlet sizes the same? Have managed to find a replacement
  10. Snapped the little adapter on my front turbo yesterday trying to bolt on a new twin turbo pipe. Ive glued it back together using epoxy but not sure if itll hold given the temps the compressor outlet might reach. Anyone have a spare they want to offload or know where I can get a replacement (fleabay doesnt have), or anyone think the epoxy would hold? Im booked in for a retune next week but dont want any issues on the day :S
  11. Price drop on nismos to $400ono. Will also separate AFMs and Blitz intakes - $150 for both intakes, $200 for both AFMs Also have: Apexi intake to suit rb26, selling as not needed. Purchased off forum member here just recently, was test fitted to his car for a week before being taken off. excellent condition and bolts straight up to stock and z32 afms. - $300 posted
  12. Also have a number of 3" and 3.5" exhaust gaskets. $5 each!!
  13. that makes sense, given the pistons are usually in an offset pattern. The cts/vf have the callipers mounted behind the axle but the gtr's have them facing forward. Although the S chassis are also infront of the axle so there must be a way around this?
  14. yep should be and thanks! looking forward to getting the damned thing back on the road haha
  15. Full set of callipers and pads delivered looks to be about 1500usd for front and rear.
  16. Interested to hear how this goes!
  17. Got a set of these on the way for my 32, anyone know the settings for the 26?
  18. I spoke to GCG yesterday asking about highflowing my -7's, he said that just results in a -5. Is that right? My understanding of watching the motivedvd vids is that the inlet size is smaller than a -5 but the comp cover is machines enough to fit the larger wheel?
  19. usually the yellow tinge can be sanded off with fine sandpaper and then some plastic polish. I'm currently trying to clear my clear cam cover using hydrogen peroxide (found a guide online) will let you know if it works as it should also apply.
