  1. I bent up some wire to what i needed and took it and the turbo to Extreme Motorsports in Northgate and got the right fittings and braid hose and screwed it all together. http://www.extrememotorsports.com.au/ If you can't do it yourself then try Pirtek, Enzed or mobile auto hoses http://www.mobileautohoses.com.au/ Cheers Steve
  2. The chosen plug of champions. I have used these plugs in my RB20 and now have a set in my RB30/26
  3. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...t&p=3858902 ^^^ It's a different brand and exceeds SFI regulations. A bargain to be had and is a pretty anodised red colour.

  5. haha yeah, but i ran out of room
  6. I don't know. I was just posting my experience with slightly smaller turbo and gate on smaller engine. I had a nasty home grown manifold slapped together. So i guess my info is not relevant.
  7. I had a RB20 With 38mm gate with GT35r 0.63 rear and had no dramas from 10psi to 22psi.
  8. Just a bit of custom work i'm really happy with
  9. It's an Atomic brand. Exceeds Andra requirements which is all i am concerned about. It will be in the car by the end of the week. Damn full time work
  10. Some pics of mine for your enjoyment
  11. These guys give me 1.54 60 foot times and are street legal, so they are my everyday tyres. Just be careful with skids as i have used a pair in 8 quarter mile passes showing off. They come in plenty of sizes too. More grip in the wet than my old street tyres because of the compound gripping, but as i dont run them on the front aquaplanning is not an issue. Available at Rocket Industries
  12. Call my engine guy in my sig and tell him Steve with the Datsun 120y asked to help you with info. Don't talk too long tho as i will have to wait longer for mine to be finished then
  13. His dyno may be "happy" and read high. Its only a figure, see how it drives. The seat of the pants is the best dyno, spend the money if it pulls harder than it was money well spent
  14. Mine cost $500 for a mobile guy to come to my garage and do it on my old RB20. Saved me stuffing around with it. oil feed and the 2 water lines to the block were done.
  15. I have a set of HKS step 2 valve springs for RB26 that are unused if anyone interested. Part # 22001-AN001
  16. I pick mine up late next week I didn't realise how expensive it would be. My RB20 cost 4.5k and i have spent 12k just on parts with the new engine and still have to pay for the machining. I did go a bit crazy with name brand parts tho Check out the relief work to clear the cam lobes. With regards to previous page where i asked about Engine management. I dont mind the sound of the Autronic. Thanks guys.
  17. Well, my engine had its "dummy fit" yesterday and all the clearances etc checked. All good to be assembled next week. I'm starting to think i should of gone 280 cams instead of the 264/272 option after reading around the net. One thing that was picked up was i have a R34 RB26 head and i got cams to suit the R32/33 RB26 head for ease of finding a crank angle sensor later on. Well the HKS valve springs to suit my cams held 7psi less than the R34 factory valve springs. I now have aftermarket ones that almost hold double the pressure. This stuff is way over my head but by memory, the HKS springs held 38psi so the stock ones were 7 psi above that and the new ones (can't remember the brand) held 75psi. I don't know what these numbers mean but more is better i presume. The ATI balancer looks pretty too. I hope my stall converter is big enough for the T04z as well. I am finding it hard to choose between the Haltech E11 v2 or EMS 6860. Any help from you guys would be appreciated. The car will be primarily a drag car. I am wanting to have a low boost level for 1st and then a higher setting for 2nd and top gears. Also i would like to run 2 seperate maps if possible maybe even 3 switchable seperate maps. Cheers Steve
  18. Just picked it up. All heat coated and stuff.
  19. Call Kev Rowley (07) 3814 4674 He does alot of wiring for engine conversions and is always happy to sit on the phone and talk you through it or he can also convert your harnes to suit your application if you post it to him. I'm serious he is a whizz. Tell him i sent you.
  20. EDIT Forgot to mention, I have dumped the GT35r in favour of the T04z. Best to have too much hp than not enough.
  21. My engine guy is making mine up and is also turning up the restrictors as well. I have given him a heap of parts and his job is to make it all work together and get any bits i missed out on, acl race bearings etc. My engine bay is painted and ready to slide the big girl in Just need a finished motor.
  22. I forgot this thread... My mph is actually 118 not 113. I will post up my best dyno of 285hp before the RB20 was pulled out. RB30/26 should go a little bit quicker.
  23. I just purchased the Spool rods and CP piston "kit". Everything i needed was there. Good bloke to chat with as well. Also got the JUN oil pump while i was at it. Saved me hunting around different places for bits and pieces.
  24. Well my RB30 block had a crack between head stud and bore in number 5 after acid dipping. Got a free RB30 from a R31 skyline, i just had to pull it out. I have all my parts, just needs to be machined and put together. I'm glad i went for the spool rods option instead of crossing fingers with the stock ones. Just piece of mind for me. Not long to go
