  1. I would be extremely suprised if an insurance company was to decline a claim based upon illegal window tinting on a vehicle. That would be insanely stingy!
  2. x 2 or Daihatsu Handivan... can fit thru any space

  11. Yep... swap for my car, you give me a cash adjustment of $10,500- so I will take your car if you pay me $600 cos it is a liability after all. Also price dropped to $9,900 neg consider swap with Falcon/Commondore worth $5,000 + cash.
  12. This sounds like a loss of no claim bonus. Regardless of fault in your claims, if you were not able to obtain third party details for your insurer to claim off the other party, you may have lost part of it.
  13. For sale is my 1991 Mazda BG GTX Familia. A rare 4WD hot hatch in excellent condition. Included with the sale are the NSW plates FAM-11A plus a number of extras. I have recently purchased this vehicle and have barely driven 500 kilometres as it sits in the garage whilst I work all week. It is with regret I am selling as I would like a larger car so I can commute to work/tow trailers etc. Sale price is $9,900 ono Here is my Carsales ad: HERE. The vehicle is in excellent condition and has just been serviced with Motul oil, new NGK iridium spark plugs plus a new K&N pod added. I will also include a number of performance parts I have purchased but not yet fitted, including a brand new Just Jap front mount intercooler and a turbotech boost controller. The vehicle is registered until 04/2007. Other mods/extras include: Other extras included with the vehicle are: * 3 inch exhaust including high-flow cat * GTR Familia bonnet with bonnet pins * New shocks * Heavy duty clutch * Speco boost gauge * CD player * Short shift For any further info, please feel free to contact me at [email protected] or 0407 918 415. 14. that sounds fine, just tee it in there and it should be fine (I'm assuming it's just a standard manual boost controller/bleed valve).
  15. G'Day, You need to cut the hose before the wastegate actuator i.e. you need to insert the boost controller somewhere along the line between the 2 arrows in your pic you listed under "Pipe from wastegate". Hope that makes sense
  16. Yeah I think a woman was either in the taxi or getting into it and got hurt. She was taken away by an ambulance. Don't think the roads were wet either it was just pretty ordinary driving.
  17. I saw this crash. He smoked it off the lights, fishtailed it and then overcorrected & smashed into the taxi. Someone was lying on the footpath injured.. couldn't see much tho. Got a picture of it (pretty poor quality- phone's camera isn't much good at night).
  18. Nah turns out it was a bloody fuse it's all back to normal now.
  19. Hey, I have a Mongoose M80 alarm/immobiliser, and I have just replaced my battery. Before doing so I disabled the alarm with the key provided (my car was locked/immobilised at this time). I fitted the new battery, and now when I attempt to rearm the thing with the key it keeps blaring with the battery backup siren. I try every possible combo on the remote to no avail. The battery is definately connected correctly, as I can turn headlights on etc. Has anybody come across this at all? If so... what should I do to fix the thing? Cheers
  20. What a joke! This has so many inherent flaws too. What if some clown sits next to these cameras with an air horn as you are driving past to pi$$ you off?? I fail to see how this will reduce the road toll or encourage safer driving. And the thing that is really crap is that despite all of this extra revenue, we never see the roads improve.
  21. Had the same problem recently. It's usually a dead coil.
  22. Gosford is fine for me too. Maybe a Thursday night? Then we could all go do hectik laps of Terrigal and Erina j/k. Maybe during the day on a weekend would be good too.
  23. The white one is the owners car.. Dunno about the black one though. That's been there for ages tho. Don't see many 32's on the coast a meet-up would be sweet tho. I was speaking to this dude one day @ West Gossie shops with a 32- haven't seen him since.
  24. I've had 2 recent loans with both National & St George. I found National are the quickest + at the time they were waiving the application fee. St George have been a bit slow lately with both approvals + processing.. i.e. you call the processing dept and wait like 15-20 mins. Probably check the interest rates though.
