Exactly why you don't listen to everything you read on the forums...get your rear geometry right to account for some of the negative camber on the squat and have soft rears to get the weight transfer towards the back...a zed is a car like any other...the laws of physics still apply to it...
  2. That is a great price on the turbo...should go really quick...

    Dt Panels.

The controversey pretty much speaks for itself i'd say...
  4. Thats because of all the WDs...
  5. Results at last...awesome... Best finish so far...15th...pretty happy with that... Congrats to all the winners...especially Russell for flying the rb20 flag...and to Clive...
  6. If you heed rubbish advice...it becomes your fault...
  7. You gotta remember...for Deca...clean and straight = fast...sideways = fun but slow...
  8. More details on the pair of Work rims please...width? offset? Pics would be good too...thanks...
  9. I've been at every Ozmazda Deca Day and the so called Wet Ring of Death is the most boring part of the day and a waste of time...the last time they had one we included an extra battle course...that was so much better...
  10. Mate of mine who came up with me...
  11. Clive...its Gerald...didn't get a chance to say bye to you yesterday...was good chatting with you again...all the best and hope to see the evo back soon...
  12. That is true...and i remember us speaking about it too...however the rb30det boys seem to run the same turbo without much hassles...if anything they had issues with the standard actuator not holding boost... On the 2J it made 18psi by 3200rpm with the 0.82 rear...i did consider the 1.06 at one point but the issue seems to be under control now...
  13. That was what i was lead to believe too until i went with a GT3076R 0.82 IW on my 2JZ...boost crept up to 18psi by redline...2 dump pipe designs and 1 slightly restrictive catback later...i finally managed to get it to settle at 16.5psi at redline...
  14. PMs replied...lots of tyre kickers but no takers...
  15. Bargain!!! Lolz...buy our stuff!!!
  16. Hey fellas, I've got a brand new Garrett GT3076R for sale...i bought this awhile ago as a spare but never got around to using it...ID tag says 700382-12...it comes with the ported compressor housing with the surge slots...this turbo needs no introduction as most will be aware of what it can do on a rb...as a guide i'd say around 300-320rwkw depending on setup...some have gotten a lot more though... It does not have a rear housing though so you can spec one according to the setup you wish to run...0.63, 0.82 or 1.06 and internal or external wastegate setup... Asking for $1000 firm...pick up available in Clayton in Melb SE or can post at buyers expense...
  17. It doesn't have to be said...its the norm for any dyno day...anyway...now you know...
  18. What kinds of mods are you looking at doing? there are power mods, handling mods...wank mods...even a sticker can be considered a mod...
  19. This was answered in your post on the supra forums already...you need to get it tuned...the percentage correction alone and lagtime setting (latency) are a seperate issue and setting that alone with not give you XXX AFR at XX Bar...stop wasting peoples' time....
  20. Are you selling the rear housing seperately? Could be interested...
  21. Hate to burst your bubble but a 3076R 0.82 will not get you 500rwhp...
  22. Power is very disappointing at the moment...only at 280rwkw at 18psi...this is through a restrictive 2.5" muffler...when I find another exhaust system i'm happy with i'll hit the dyno again for a retune...but at least for now its pretty responsive for a daily...
  23. ^^^ Thanks...i know that...it also increases the pressure on the flap so it takes more before it starts to crack open... I actually gave the actuator rod a couple of turns today...boost response seems a tad better down low...might keep going a turn at a time till it starts to creep upwards...i guess a big can actuator might not be needed for now...
  24. Ben...i'll take care of that mutt...and i'll have my korean colleagues come over for a meal too....=P
