Hi Guys, I'm selling my HKS GT3037 Pro S Turbo...its the 56 trim variant with a 0.68 exhaust housing...rated at 480PS from the HKS website...for those that don't know this is the internally gated version...i'm selling it because its too small for my new engine which is a 2JZ... Turbo is in excellent condiditon and has a T3 flange for a direct bolt on to the standard rb20/25 exhaust manifold...has next to no shaftplay as well...turbo is perfectly suited for a high power rb20 or rb25 and will make 300+rwkw with blistering response...it came off a 1JZ making 305rwkw @ 20psi... Whats included: HKS GT3037 Pro S turbo with ported (anti surge) compressor housing HKS adjustable actuator HKS heat shield (needs a polish) Oil drain pipe Original oil feed banjo bolt with the correctly sized feed hole for BB turbos Custom dump pipe (this will not suit a rb but the flange can be cut and welded to your existing dump for it to work) ***NO oil lines or coolant lines*** Item is located in Melbourne SE Suburbs...will post at buyers expense...inspections welcome if you're from Melbourne... Are you interested in swapping housings? I've got a 3037 with a 0.68 housing which i fear will be too small for my 2JZ... Discopotato03...what do you recon? is a 0.68 exhaust housing on a 3037 too small for a 3.0L engine?

Interesting...i've got a supra too which runs a PFC and i can get abnormally high knock readings too...especially if i hit the limiter by mistake...and my engine check light does not come on as well...i am pretty sure that the PFC does not retard timing though...

Hahaha...a coolant temp sender adaptor on the BOV plumback pipe...thats a first...sure you could have found something better...

Had the same sound when i did my 2535 install on my old 32 years ago...checked everything and couldn't find the cause of it...funnily enough...adding a resonator along the catback to reduce exhaust noise levels totally got rid of the siren wailing sound too...i put it down to some sort of weird resonant frequency which was eliminated with the addition of the resonator...now its highly possible its totally unrelated but i spent 6 months hunting down the cause so regardless i was happy...

Dammit...can't believe i missed this thread...been waiting for it for so long and even changed my flight dates to make it and i missed the boat...can i get on the waiting list? I'll fax my form across tomorrow...PM has been sent by Angel13th on my behalf too....

Agreed that the dyno was reading low...my supra was tuned at Status and made 256rwkw and it made 226rwkw at kamikaze today...again...we know dynos read differently but thats a rather large variation...

Could be heat soak of the intercooler and a general rise in engine bay temps robbing you of power...it might not be enough to cause water or oil temps to overheat but it will definitely cause a drop in power...as you progress thru your session heat builds up obviously...and from session to session i doubt your engine would have cooled down completely...
