  1. Entry form emailed and fee has been paid by direct deposit...
  2. Will put application in tomorrow!!!
  3. The VQ30 turbo isn't a popular swap for the rb20 as yet...mainly because they aren't that common...how big is the exhaust housing though? if its meant for a 3L engine i suspect it might be too big for the rb20...top end should be decent though...but if a bit if lag doesn't bother you...go for it...it might start a revolution...
  4. Are all the Deca spots filled? I've missed out on the previous ones and would love to come to this one...
  5. I would hardly call 13psi spiking first and foremost... What other mods do you have on the car...any form of intake or exhaust mods like a cooler or 3" exhaust and it will run more that 10psi...let alone with an aftermarket turbo that flows more... And fyi even with a bleed valve you can't lower boost...only raise it...and with a bleed valve you will still experience a little of this so called "spiking" even if it was running right as its a manual system and it takes time to react and come to a steady state... Also...check your wastegate flap AGAIN because although it might be opening it might not be opening fully...you said you're pretty sure...unless you did it yourself...never be sure...the flaps on HKS 25xx turbos have been known to foul on the split dumps... AND FINALLY...hks turbos are more efficient around 1-1.2 bar anyway...so harden up....
  6. For those who are asking...yes it has holes for your sensors for oil temp/pressure...and you can easily hook up an oil cooler to it...
  7. Hi Fellas, I'm selling a TRUST/GREX Oil Filter Relocator Kit for CA/RB engines...it comes with everything in the photo which is a sandwich plate and the filter plate and 2 braided lines...this is an high quality kit from Japan and is not like those cheap versions you see floating around... I'm looking for $200.00 for the kit...pickup is available from Melb SE Suburbs or i can send interstate at the buyers expense...PM if interested... Cheers...
  8. The GT-SS is not similar to a 2535...the 2535 is closer to the GT-RS or 2871...and the GT-SS is closer to a 2510...which by the way can also be found in a t3 flange...but will be too small for a 25 neo...
  9. HKS GT-SS would be alittle small for a rb25 neo and run out of puff too soon...GT-RS would be my pick...have a look at the results section for estimates of max power and the kind of power delivery to expect...
  10. Is this the low mount internal gate option td06-20g? From the results i have seen with rb20s and the like...270-290rwkw sounds about right...maybe abit more with the rb25...
  11. Twin turbos on a rb20 has been done once here...can't remember who it was though...results weren't the best but then again the setup wasn't right and was far from optimized...i'm a 20 fan too and used to run one...personally...even though it would be a cool project...you're better off slapping on a medium sized single and live with the lack of down low response...even with the smallest of the BB turbos a rb20 will still be lacklustre till about 3000-3500rpm...so if its never gonna be good down low then make sure it sings up high... Or go 2JZ like i have...
  12. You're going by feeling here...which is not the best judge of how quick a car is...the 32 might "feel" quicker as the rush of torque comes whereas a V8 might feel more linear...and hence feel not as quick...but it can be deceiving....
  13. 220rwkw but with massive torque and huge area under the curve...you're still screwed...and if they're modded...you're doubly screwed... I ran 237rwkw in my old 32 and unless i was really trying (proper launch and warm tyres) i'd be eaten just about every time on the street...i'd hit boost and light the tyres up (proper tyres too) and its all over...on the strip though its different as the car runs 12s and has shocked a few of the bigger boys...
  14. There are benefits to running a catch can...oil vapour from blowby reduces the octane count of petrol and could lead to detonation...i dunno about you but i'd rather not risk that happening...
  15. Stock for stock they are a superior engine in every way but probably not a cost effective swap...
  16. Item: Rb25det Crankshaft and Rods Condition: Very Good Price: $200 To Fit: (What car) Any rb25det or rb20det (for stroker engine) Location: Melb SE Suburbs Comments: Bought this ages ago when i was planning to build a hybrid stroker rb20det with 4a-gze pistons and a rb25det crank and rods...i have since sold my old car along with the spare engine and this is left over...its ideal for anyone who needs a spare crank and rods for a standard rebuild or anyone who wants to undertake a hybrid rb20det rebuild...pick up only from Melb SE Suburbs....PM if interested...cheers...
  17. Ran one of those Mspec ones on my old rb20 putting out nearly 240rwkw...did a few track days and temps were fine...just make sure you have proper shrouding for the radiator...should cost you around the $300 mark...
  18. $950 for a remap is a ripoff...get dr drift to do it... With GTR injectors an adjustable fuel reg is not needed... Before the tune just give the car a service especially the plugs to make sure all is in order...clean the afm too... Finally...the turbotech is fine...i ran mine on my old 32 @19psi and was making 237rwkw...
  19. Gdod job...what suspension setup and diff are you running?
  20. Hi Fellas, I've got a Hi-Octane Racing Radiator Guide for R32GTR for sale...its never been used on my car and only trial fitted...it will fit R32gtrs and R32 gtsts using gtr headlights and bonnet...selling for $30...not negotiable on that...located in Melbourne SE Suburbs or will post interstate at buyers expense...heres a pic of it from the Hi-octane website...PM if interested...
  21. We'll all heard this so many times from you...the solution to your overboosting is your stock dump...it has been told to you several times...whether or not it holds to redline is beside the point at this moment... Now...as for 19psi at winton...its probably not the best idea...especially if your high boost is a result of a restriction...people usually wind boost down a few psi for safety at the track...couple of laps at WOT will have EGTs through the roof as well...and then risk of detonation will be another issue...its a bad idea if you ask me...and is an accident waiting to happen...
  22. Price Drop!!!! $250 ono!!!
