First and foremost...i have been in the exact same situation...my rb20 with hks2535 started off making [email protected] was piss weak...everything seemed fine with the engine at that point...compression was good and everything else was healthy... Turns out my Xforce cat was a restrictive POS and was the biggest restriction in the whole system...i bit the bullet and shelled out $300+ for a MetalCat and went in for a retune...instantly we were able to dial in more timing and ended up with 215rwkw@16psi... I went a step further and installed a catch can...which might have helped to catch some oil vapour which can lead to detonation...and i also invested in a set of new coils...another tuning session later and power went up to [email protected] wanted to dial in 22psi but was told not to push my luck...lolz... Now take what you will from this...i know alot of skeptics who said that a catch can and coils wouldn't give a gain...but its all in the tune...allowing more ignition timing to be dialled in will in turn make more power... I will however guarantee that the xforce cat is playing a part in your dismal results...i was using an xforce cat too...bin that POS and see if you can address other restrictions in your system...good luck...

Does the wastegate flap actually open fully with the stock dump...if it doesn't then thats your problem...

Honestly...if the tune is decent and the supporting mods are there...and if the engine is healthy to begin with...18psi is fine...i mean...its not like you are at WOT and full boost everywhere...its all about throttle modulation...you can drive around like a granny and have that 18psi on tap to get past that pesky car thats holding you up...

Wound not hurt to give it an oil change with something decent first and see how it goes...and of course try to shift alittle easier...

Been awhile since i last heard about this wanker...does he still patrol the same areas or has he ventured further now? Whereabouts does he like to shoot his load off nowadays?

Why would it be the clutch? its a synchro for sure...had it happen on so many of my boxes...shift gently and change the oil and hope for the best...its either that or change it...

Hi Fellas, I have an Apexi GT Spec FMIC for sale...it has the usual Apexi Delta Fin design to channel the air better...core type is tube and fin and core size is 500x240x60...this is one of the best coolers you can get due to its high efficiency and flow...from memory it is rated to 400PS or about 250rwkw and is perfect for mildly to mid modded skylines...it is used but is in extremely good condition but with some slightly bent fins as can be expected with used coolers...it should be noted that this cooler will also fit perfectly behind most standard front bars... I am asking for $400 for the cooler...this might seem expensive compared to the normal copy coolers floating around but you get what you pay for and in this case you are paying for one of the best quality coolers in the market...pick up is available in Melbourne SE Suburbs and i will also post interstate at the buyers expense...PM if interested...cheers...

17"s imo...18s seem abit too big on a 32gtr...also...high performance rubber in 17" is cheaper...so you can spend abit more on tyres...

Something is definitely wrong there looking at those graphs...i'd give everything a once over...check for restrictions and leaks all over...perhaps have a look at the wastegate actuator too...GTRSs come with adjustable wastegate actuators yeah? if so i'd start there...

For those getting cheaper ones...one small piece of advice...change the soft crappy screws to proper high tensile ones and tighten them up well...if you do this you should have no problems...

Had the same trust catback on my 32...great system...reasonably quiet and flows great...actually made more power with it than with a custom 3" catback...free bump!!

You will not need GTR injectors to run a rb25 turbo...its overkill... Also...when doing the GTR injector swap...you will have to trim the plastic keyway on the plug to fit it...remember that...

Do you even know what rwkw stands for? REAR WHEEL KILOWATTS...undestand that concept and it will all make sense...
