  1. Whats a better chassis to throw it into? just out of curiousity...find me a chassis that can hold a constant load of almost 1g back in its day...
  2. Its dmac_25's now pending pickup...cheers...
  3. Nothing wrong with the HKS Hi Power Silent...as said...they still flow well...just that they have spent time to engineer a proper exhaust that keeps the noise down... I went from a loud as custom exhaust with a cannon muffler to a quiet trust system and picked up a few kw actually...quiet doesn't necessarily mean restrictive...
  4. Good day fellas, I've got a blown rb20det sitting in my garage which i'm looking to give away...its just the bare engine without ancillaries and turbo...it also doesn't have a sump...anyone wants it please PM me as i just want it gone...don't bother asking if i'm willing to seperate bits of it...if you want something just take the whole engine and seperate it yourself...located in Chadstone...if anyone wants it you can have it for a 6 pack of coronas or pure blondes... Cheers.
  5. 2x Hankook RS2 Tyres 245/45/16 BRAND NEW Perfect for 32 gtr rims or any other 16x8 rims Located in Melb SE Suburbs These are awesome tyres and the grip from them once they are warm is awesome...i have always run these on my old 32 and they were great at the strip and on the track...they are Hankook's top street tyre and similar in performance to the Bridgestone Potenza RE001s but at a fraction of the price and more durable as well...info can be found here... http://www.hankooktyre.com.au/v2/products/...hpt&id=1172 They have huge thread blocks for a large contact area and look tough as!! I'm asking for $400 for the pair...Pick up only in Melb SE Suburbs because of size...PM if interested....
  6. Can't do that because the 32 is gone...plus the supra is just built so much better anyway...it'd be silly to do that...lolz...
  7. I don't mind it as well but it does look better without the wing... After throwing it around a few corners yesterday i must say that its very balanced and planted...and while its not exactly light its more nimble than you might think...the chassis is great...oh what a feeling...lolz!!!
  8. Compared to the way my old 32 looked i recon this is a big step up...lolz...
  9. Its got a getrag in there...so i think that answers the auto or manual question... I don't like the wing as well...but it leaves some really ugly holes if you take it off...so that might take awhile to sort out...at least i know that the toyota engineers have actually designed it to provide proper downforce...
  10. I recently started gathering parts to build a rb22 hybrid engine for my R32 GTST...but circumstances have changed and that project is now dead...but it ain't all bad...because i have seen the light...or perhaps moved over to the dark side (depending on your point of view)...gone is my 237rwkw R32 GTST and in its place now is a 3L straight 6 twin turbo brute... A deal too good to pass up came along and I went for it...the car is still stockish at the moment with and exhaust and safc...it also came with 272 degree cams...other goodies include the factory big brake kit and factory bilsteins...which is a bonus...i'm guessing it makes around 200rwkw at the moment at about 12psi...but it will make alot more when i'm done with it... Therefore...i will soon have a blown rb20det to give away along with other bits for the rb22 build...stay posted...cheers...
  11. There is a 22 page sticky thread on the top of this page with all the information you will need...read that first...
  12. If cost isn't an issue and the conversion goes smoothly then there are no cons...and that is coming from a rb20 owner...
  13. Theres more than just big power when it comes to drags...the rest of your setup is just as important...look into your suspension and tyres first...272rwkw is enough power witht the right setup...you can have 350rwkw and not break into the 12s even if you don't set up the car right... Then learn to drive as well...
  14. They are designed to be run plumb back and that is how i have mine hooked up...
  15. Mine is soft and works fine....
  16. If it ain't broke...don't fix it...learn to drive it first...
  17. Exactly...teh gtr can lose...lolz Seriously...i agree it wasn't a fair race...but the close mindedness is shocking...
  18. With that kind of power the stock suspension probably will not cope...and if its too soft its gonna squat on its arse and the camber will open right up hampering traction even more...
  19. Its hard to say though...how long is a piece of string...when does it become worthwhile? I too think theres heaps of other stuff to concentrate on first but the shortened cooler piping is a big plus to me...
  20. True to form...
  21. BWAHAHAHAHA....Really? Speaking from experience?!! Maybe you should hunt down that camry that axed you first before speaking...or maybe that mazda3? or maybe that celica?
  22. BS!! Less fatalities? people die on the road every week...just like the lygon st crash last week...its not that theres been a decline...you've just been luckier thats all...and just because they haven't been hassling you around springy doesn't mean they aren't around...if they aren't in springy means theres more of them everywhere else...
  23. Mate, PM sent regarding the grill...i'll take it...PM me back...cheers...
  24. No offence mate but are you deaf?!! A ca18 sounds worse than an sr20?!! the sr20 is a decent engine but it sounds like a farting truck...
  25. Looks like its coming along nicely...can't wait to start mine...keep the updates coming...
