  3. Hi guys, I've got a mild steel split dump + front pipe for sale. It is made by BATMBL of these forums. I am changing it because I need a custom dump for my new turbo. Its in excellent condition with no dents. It will fit r32/33s and be compatible with stock or highflow turbos using the standard exhaust housings... Asking for $250...located in Melbourne and will post at buyers expense...PM if interested...
  4. Hi guys, I've got a question regarding the hks adjustble wastegate actuator on my 2535...i was wondering how much boost have your guys managed to get out of them by shortening the adjustable arm? cheers....

  6. If you're looking for a front pipe only in melb then it won't be that easy...i was looking for one a few weeks back to bolt up to my hks dump but all the sponsors don't seem to sell 32 front pipes alone...i'm still looking...will lt you know if i find one...cheers...

Gdday fellas, I was wondering if someone could give me some specific info on gtr injectors on a rb20det...after putting the injectors in along with the resistor pack...will the car still be driveable? The car is a r32 with exhaust, hks2535, fmic, fuel pump and remapped ecu... I was hoping to be able to put the injectors in myself and then drive it to my tuner for a dyno tune to run the larger injectors...can someone tell me if the car will be driveable? and if so how bad will it be? cheers...
  11. I've just gotten my 2535 on too and have noticed something similar...only difference is that i have a rb20det and i'm using a standard gtr bov...any ideas people?

  14. Used it on my past 3 imports...didn't make any noticeable difference but it didn't harm any of my engines...
  15. The wastegate flap on my hks2535 seems to be fouling against my BOS importing dump...although it worked fine on my stock turbo...
  16. Thats a good idea...i might have to do the same thing if i can't sort this problem out...can i ask what dump pipe are you using? is it a hks original or some other dump...cheers...

Since when have i ever said i wanted to improve on the wastegate anyway...4 years also ain't that long...but its definitely enough time to know that a larger turbo will have more lag...and its definitely enough to know i need to get it tuned for it to run properly and safely...anyway...so if you do have more experience...give me a list of possible causes and i'll take them into account...instead of telling me redundant crap like how i MUST run a boost controller...

Gee...thanks for the technical lesson...i'm a certified mechanic and mechanical engineer and been involved with turbo cars for 4 years...as if i didn't know that a bigger turbo would cause more lag...when i said positive boost at 3500 (NOT 1000rpm) i meant that the boost gauge would read 0.0bar at 3500 or more...now that i know for a fact is abit late...i'm asking for opinions and suggestions here...i don't need to know that i need a boost controller and i need a dyno tune...so before you try to teach me how about you read your own crap first...i don't NEED to run a boost controller if i don't want to...if you say the hks actuators are second to none then they will hold whatever boost level they're meant to hold properly...

  20. Since you're so adament about not cutting the bar...get a arc or blitz upgrade smic...but if you're chasing alot more power it will still be a limitation...
  21. Hey fellas...just wondering if someone can help me out? I suspect the hks adjustable actuator on my 2535 might be buggered and i was wondering if the actuator from a stock rb20/25 turbo would bolt up to the 2535? Cheers...

I'm definitely not worried about running 1.2-1.3 bar on that turbo as i plan to do that in the future...i'm worried about it now though because my injectors and afm will be maxed out way before that...i have a remap and the car is tuned to only 165rwkw at the moment...with air fuel mixtures spot on...so if the 2535 is running 1.2 bar...i will defninitely be running lean...and thats even before ignition timing is addressed...so thats why...there no point in dynoing it now as i have yet to get the injectors and z32 on yet...and by skyrocketing i mean it doesn't go to 1.2 and sit there...it keeps going and thats why i got worried...
  24. 3500 seems alittle late to me for it to make positive boost but i'll have a look at the rest of the engine again...please keep the suggestions coming fellas...cheers...
