  1. ^^^ Agreed...forget about the crap about your ecu cutting out...i'd be more worried about you getting your exhaust wheel stuck in your cat or shooting it out your exhaust...keep it to 12psi or under...especially since you don't have a fmic as well...
  2. Just do it...i see a fmic as more of a support mod then a power mod...keeping the same boost you will come on boost a tad later but you will get more top end...
  3. CLutch fan? if so how much? cheers...
  4. Also...have u got a clutch fan for a rb20det? cheers...

  7. Honestly...i'd think of upgrading the fuel pump first...the stock pumps are getting old and you definitely don't want the car to run lean...
  8. Hi fellas...just installed a fmic piping kit from on of the sponsors here onto my r32 gtst...it fits fine except for the crossover pipe from under the battery that passes over the fan and cas...when the bonnet is closed the pipe is pushed down and it hits the fan...has anyone encountered this with their fmic piping installs and how have you countered this? at the moment...i have gone backyard mechanic style on the car and trimmed the fan blades...problem is that now the fan makes a sh!tload of noise and doesn't disengage even after driving for awhile...any help would be appreciated...cheers...

  10. Isn't the proper term fuel cut?...and as to why the car might be missing...there could be several reasons...the plugs could be F##ked or the gap might be too big...when running higher boost...its always a good idea to have the plugs regapped to 0.8mm...i'd reckon this should be the first thing to check...good luck...
  11. Its a long shot but worth a try...my old car had the same problem and i spent a fortune trying to rectify the fault...did all the usual stuff like fuel and ignition but to no avail...finally found the problem to be a some frayed wires going into the ecu...have a look...it might just be that...

  16. I personally have had a few spray jobs done...the basic price for this place i go to is $200 per panel or part...and the work is top notch...you'll be hard pressed to find workmanship of this calibre even at higher prices...i'm a firm believer of the saying "you get what you pay for" too...made that mistake before...krzysiu...since you're in melbourne too...if you ever need some work done...drop me a PM...i can guarantee you won't be disappointed with the quality of work done at this place....
  17. $500 to spray a front bar alone is very high and far from normal...i'd expect to pay anywhere between $250-300 for a GOOD job...
