Ok...lets stop with the volunteer talk now...every deca aftermath thread seems to go off on a tangent for some reason...i remember a whole load of BS about heel/toes once and then something about double clutching or something like that...enough... More sh!t talk about awd vs rwd or boats vs planes or godzilla vs mothra please...

I would expect drivers to be more in tune to how or what they should do as opposed to some random that was dragged along to a "beginner drift day" as i heard someone say recently... Having just helped to organize a deca day recently I know how messy it can be when you do not have enough helpers or when they have no idea what to do...its a pity that we're struggling to find helpers nowadays....

These aren't semi slicks...they are extreme summer tyres/high performance road tyres...that said they are by far my favourite street tyre...and i've tried A LOT of tyres over the years...good luck with the sale...

Agreed...i'm not saying that you can't get quick times with a rwd car...ryan and russ and others have proven that without a doubt...however an awd is still going to have more advantages in a few areas...the fact that other rwds have done so well is a testament to the level of driving...

I still maintain that on the pan (in the hands of the same skilled driver) an AWD car will still have an advantage...mainly off the launch and coming out of tight handbrake turns...

In the end a supra which everyone calls a boat took out 2nd overall ahead of any other GTR...so "TEH GTR CAN LOSE"...if only occasionally...hehehe... *Double flame suit on!!* This thread needs more sh!t talking!!

Personally I'm not a big fan of the JZ's engine note...and this is coming from a 2JZ owner...although its truckloads better than a tractor SR20...but then again...the JZs in this vid don't sound too bad...

Fantastic day...once again SAUVIC has delivered... Massive thanks to the organizers and volunteers...eagerly waiting for the results now... On a seperate note...If anyone missed out on yesterdays DECA fun & or would like to do another one next sat the 26th March, PM me for more details. I know a group who is running an event still has a few spots left, with many of the course layouts being quite familiar to SAU DECA regulars...
