yes, the market value is never what the car is really worth, as for the Royal Automobile club of WA charging 200 something.....i assume this means id have to a member and live in WA? because Just Cars Insurance quoted me for about 450 with Fire and Theft cover.....and tahts a substantially higher price then that of the RACWA, would this be the same for the RACQ?
-
Sweet....thats good news, thanks for that
-
Yes, there are two types of third party You've got the one that comes with registration, which is Third Party, which basically means if you smash into someones car, and they get injured and its your fault, it means that the insurance company will cover the cost of the operation, but not the car The other is Third Party Property, its really just an add-on to the above, so if u wreck there car it'll cover for that as well, and the fire and theft means they'll cover you if your car catchs on fire(if your bad enough to let that happen), or gets stolen it will also cover you to the market value So no matter what i drive, even if its a turbocharged and supercharged W16 Monster, will not effect the cost of the CTP? if so thats really good news

1500 excess?!?! well thats the point I needed......seems kinda point less now, because if i crash thats 3400 plus 1500.....nearlly 5 grand.......which in the most realistic case of and accident, would be more then enough to cover the damage With CTP Third Party Property with Fire And Theft option, would i be facing a larger then normal cost....or are the prices down to earth? and for that turbo power.....it sure did bring a smile to my face.....which is the reason im upgrading from the VS!
-
yeah i know......i was just seeing if there was any possible loop hole in the system....simply because i cannot afford the comprehensive option, but its clear im gonna have to go CTP, i guess sometimes you gotta sacrifice some things to have something you like....
-
well ive been on the market for a 91 GTS-t and ive seen some with a RWC ready to register condition for 9500, in manual form with 120 000kms......it wasnt in the greatest condition but it wouldnt take much to bring it to immaculate as for over the $20 000 mark, most are GT-R's and at the high end of 20 000, but 15grand for a road registered, immaculate condition GTS-t 91-93 isnt a bad price at all
-
wow....$3400 is quite alot of money for a years insurance.....i figure because of the write off claim and the speeding ticket would have affected this big time?
-
thanks bro.....hopefully ill have somethin like this within the month, cheers
-
thanks both of yas, u both been a big help....yeah im familar with nissansilvia....good site that.....thanks again fellas
-
WHERE WHERE WHERE.....lol sorry bro...im new to this site, but hell yeah ill have a look
-
so which is the better way to go do you think? I know you can definatly pick one up private sale for 9 grand with a RWC, i havent looked at the dealers yet, i'm kinda in the crap-end of no where, so dealers arent everywhere.....
-
yeah ive got the 10 grand now because of the selling commy, so u reckon that 10 grand isnt a bad price for a 91 GTS-t R32?
-
yeah thats kinda why im gonna buy it out right, so i dont have to worry about repayments, and as for driving it, 50 bucks a week on fuel should do it, its mostly round town driving, plus i dont like being in debt...gives ya the feeling.....tah bad one
-
lol taking out a loan? im not made of money bro, the car in questions is only 10 grand.....besides with the commodore money its not to hard, its just all the other costs i wanna know
-
haha well if ur that keen.........
-
thats exactly right buddy, all my friends ask me how i always manage to have money while they'll go and blow there pay on grog and pointless shit, but as a former smoker it isnt as easy to just stop smoking like that, but the money saved is amazing, you think things out....thats they way to do it, like what im doing, i wanna figure out all the costs invloved before i buy this skyline, but after driving in one i really really want this
-
hey again, well now that i find out that the R32 GTS-t was never officially imported, only the 32 GT-R, is there anything special i would need to know before i purchase the car, like do i need the compliance papers and stuff? or would a RWC be enough? because i havent asked the fella im buying it off if he had a compliance certificate with him, but he does have a RWC, so would i only need the RWC to get the rego transferred or do i need to get the compliance certificate as well? help would be great
-
thats to true brother, but sometimes when you want something bad enough you gotta be willing to make sacrfice, moneys only money sometimes....
-
then let him thinks hes all that, it doesnt matter what he thinks if everyone around him knows hes all talk and no go
-
well for starters, i loved my VS, it was a great car and gave me very little problems its just the fact that there are so many on the street i just dont feel like pouring money into it so people can say...hey its another commodore, besides my friend bought it off me so i have 5 grand to play with and i decided either an r32 or an s13, as for 25? im just getting on 18 so i wish i was in the same situation as you but im not, and the unfortunatly, i dont want to wait till im 25 to drive my favourite car, becuase by then fuel could be 2.50 a litre and it will just be impossible to run, so unless by a miracle, that comprehensive insurance will be around the 1000 dollar mark, i will have to go down teh CTP route, but thanks for the information any way, every little bit helps when buying an import
-
yeah....just weigh up the facts...your car has more power....and he talks alot of shit....so until he actually beats you i wouldnt listen
-
yeah, i owned a suzuki mighty-boy that ran low 8's.......but u just have to believe me.....hehe.....its just common sense bro, if u see other cars like his with more mods but less power....what do u believe
-
Yeah u could put it that way, but with the way the laws looking at younger drivers, as long as its got a turbo a blower or bent 8, insurance is gonna split you
-
then hes lying to you man, i mean fair enough if he doesnt wanna take it to the track, maybe hes scared to race but theres no excuse for not puttin it on the dyno
