  1. Finally saw J-Boys white R32 GTR at outside S&H library at UQ today. Heard it outside when I was on level 2. Looks very tough in person.
  2. Your pic is 100% correct. Just double checked on my car.
  3. Saw a grey r32 gtr 10mins ago driving along staff house road. I was walkin to engineering library. Plates were 645HTL.
  4. woowww sold in 13mins. very good buy, tyres would have cost more than $300 by themselves.
  5. ive gone about 30km after light turns on
  6. At the moment i have 235/40-18s on 10.5" rears and 225/40-18s on 9.5 fronts. Only reason i have this is because fitting 10.5" rims on the back of a gtst is nearly impossible with just rolled guards. If i used bigger than 235s then the tyres will hit on the guard and also stickout past the guard. The person that had the car before i bought it has been using this size tyre for 2yrs and i have been for a yr without any problems from damage or the police.
  7. I have exactly the same problem however mine is in a rb20det with rb25 highflow turbo. Goin up long hills on the highway if i build boost slowly, at about 5psi boost gauge will bounce up and down (max boost is 10psi atm). But once it it hits 10psi everything is fine. Mine usually only does it between 3000 and 4000rpm and more often in high gears, eg 4 and 5. For the moment i have been putting up with it but would love to find the solution.
  8. 3 Piece Genesis Imperi's
  9. Get a GTR cooler. Less likely to get hassled by the cops (when painted black) and they are perfect size for medium mods.
  10. HCR32-295852 thanks
  11. Damn! You must be so carefull driving that around. You dont even have a scratch underneath it.
  12. Spark plug looks normal to me. However the corrosion around the spark plug isnt good. Do you have the cover that goes over the coil packs on? Looks like there has been water sitting around your spark plugs. This can make you spark arc out on the rocker covers. Did your car ever missfire?
  13. I dont see how it would have anything to do with the BOV. You say that it happens when you are accelerating (ie throttle body is open). I think ^^^people above are getting mixed up with the flutter noise that happens when take your foot off the accelerator. If that is your problem then i would suggest checking your BOVs. Pull off your intake pipes and see if there is any shaft play in either of the turbos.
  14. I had this same problem with my rb20det. Does it while i accelerate between 3000-4000rpm and more often in a higher gear (etc 5th gear on the highway). I have a adjustment nut on my internal wastgate arm which allows me to turn the boost up without a boostcontroller. What i did was loosen the nut back to standard boost and the problem was fixed. To whether i have a faulty wastegate actuator, ecu cannot handle the amount of psi (11spi) or my turbo is f*cked im not sure. I think that the wastegate is flapping open and closed therefore causing a sudden loss of pressure in the exhaust wheel causing the turbo wheel slow down and the presure built up in the intercooler piping blows back out the turbo (flutter). It is hard to explain. If anyone else has these problems please post.
  15. As title says, i am after some 18" tyres. They can be any size between 215/40 to 245/40. pair -215/40 or 225/40 for Fronts pair -235/40 or 245/40 for Rears Prefer Pick up Brisbane area Thanks Dean 0410844253 or pm
  16. look almost the same as your old one

    Tyre Placecards

Thanks for the reply's people. I called nissan and they can get one for $6 (not goin to haggle over $3). Thanks again Dean They did actually, it cost me $75 and one demerit point.
  19. Ok, as the title says I need a tyre placecard for my R32. The only reason I believe mine is missing is because when it was resprayed the sticker was removed but never replaced. If anyone knows where I can get one it would be greatly appreciated. Thnakyou Dean
  20. I bought one last week from repco for $62. Took them a day to order it in. Brand is Pro-Torque Automotive Products (Model No. JD6100). There is also a genuine nissan one for sale on ebay at the moment. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/NISSAN-GEN-EXHAUST-...1QQcmdZViewItem
  21. could be alot of things, tho my bet is either a faulty AFM or a vac leak before the turbo (check the hose going from the top of the rocker cover to the intercooler piping before the turbo).
  22. Yeh saw one installed on an episode of Rides. They put it on a small suv which didnt have any room for it in the engine bay.
  23. bunnings
  24. Spotted white R33 GTR, plates were 000GTR. Very tough car. Also saw a white R32 Gtst (standard plates) put on a bit of a show at the end of Compton Rd at about 5:30pm today.
