  1. If the car's navy blue, the ONLY colour for motor accessories is canary yellow with chrome accessories. Way hot.
  2. Hey fellas, I figured hundreds of pics of these two turbos have been posted on this website, but not in the one thread. Can someone with both turbos post a pic of them side-by-side, with indications of ways to tell if you have one or the other. If no-one bothers, I might source pics of the forums and post them up here myself. Might be hard to work out the difference! Thanks, Adrian.
  3. Yeah, they're known as 'scammers'. Ain't no-one here selling a 32 GTR bonnet for $200 unless its 1:18 scale or got more dents in it than the titanic. Wake up.
  4. LOL And I want a toilet made of solid gold!
  5. Yeah, I agree with the another-part-to-fail idea. Sure, Porsche will make it good, but they'll charge for it too. And the cheap kits that end up on eBay will fail in a week. Aand we'll have to wait for the locally produced compromise...
  6. That's what it's all about
  7. Would have been referring to a replica gtho, just an XY falcon with GTHO components to give it the same look. Probably fit a twin-turbocharged 1UZ-FE under the hood... God knows there's plenty of room!!!
  8. Oh ok. I'm thinking that this dump and front in one cant be too bad, as it retails for over $500 new. That's about the extent of my ability to judge it, as I have no mechanical prowess whatsoever... That said, being that it's sold at an Autobarn and that it is stainless steel, I might as well pick it up - especially for the money. The items I was considering retail for around $200, so logic would suggest, on a what-you-pay-is-what-you-get basis, that this must be better, if not at least just as good.
  9. Whats up GTST? Did you have trouble with an Advance front pipe or Batmbl one?
  10. Meh, BATMBL dump and front pipe is $360, so I don't see why I should pay extra for the same thing. If I was going for max power and had mega dollars, would get the split dump. But like I said, meh.
  11. Just looking for some comment, if anyone's heard of them or knows of them. Whether it's Australian brand or Japanese, or other. Thanks, Adrian.
  12. Yeah, well if enough people acted like pricks (as you suggest), and gave ridiculous locations, it might be necessary to compile a for sale forum design that necessitates the selection of a location. The only locations would be the states and territories of Australia, and if none were selected, it would not allow your item to be posted for sale. Then time-wasters that would like to say something like 'location - moon' would have to take it somewhere else. And I can't imagine a single soul who'd complain with that?!
  13. How much do you want for dump and front pipe with delivery to Mildura Vic 3500? Just so I know when I see pics. Thanks.
  14. STILL waiting on pics of the dump and front pipe. I swear, the day I get this no-posting-an-item-for-sale-without-showing-a-pic-of-it thing, the day this website takes a step in the right direction.
  15. Yeah, but 'busa is too heavy. An engine the same size as small cars in a motorbike! Leave it to suzuki to do something crazy like that!
  16. Not so much that, but that jap thing, as good as it is (and god knows I love it in the 32) is a bit thin, especially nowadays when the streets are flooded with jap cars every weekend. I'm looking for something different that turns heads, as I think the effect has largely worn off on our cars. Doesn't make em any less fun to drive or great cars, just means you might wanna think twice before sinking huge amounts of cash into em. Hope I've cleared it up.
  17. ? Gonna back that up with anything I can respond to, or leave it at that?
  18. See what I mean? Look at the interest all of this talk is creating. I reckon we're on a winner here. It's one thing to see a 33 buzz by winding boost and blowing off, but imagine seeing a 'stang do the same. I'm lovin' this!
  19. Yeah, same driver, different car = same result. Only difference is now they've got some power to back up their attitude. Pity it's because of Japanese tech.
  20. UPDATE: Found a bellmouth style dump and front pipe in 1 on justjap.com for $195+ delivery, so I'm probably going to go with that if anyone doesn't have anything better going reasonably cheaper (considering it would be second hand). Thanks.
  21. Have pencilled it in. Aren't they showing any races til then?
  22. Here's my 15-minute effort! Pretty dodgy, but meh. Have a look anyway! civic03.bmp
  23. Yeah, I was toying with the idea of an old 911 with a 993 conversion bodykit, and chev 350 engine conversion. But that all ends up costing around $40,000, so I'm not too sure about that. Another idea (which is MORE costly again), is to get a Boxster and put a GT2 Style Bodykit on it. There are also supercharger kits that you can get for them that bring power to 160rwkw with nothing else done to them. Dunno, see what happens. It all balances on the $
