  1. Well, I'm going to have to put my 32 through regency in late november / early december, and I'm fairly familiar with relevant legislation, ADRs and what-not, so this should be interesting. Being a lawyer and all... I think I'll turn up in a full suit, brieface on the passenger seat, and my best court-face on. If the inspector starts up with the I-could-defect-you-but-I-wont crap, I'll let him have it where it hurts - legally! Anyone can call someone an asshole for being a prick about approving a car, but I think it's more fun if you make a formal complaint and have them fired! B) Will let you all know how it goes anyway... Adrian.
  2. D'oh! I won't have my 32 on the road til early December... However, as soon as I get it on the road, I'm up for cruises! Can't wait to finally have a car worthy of cruise-status Adrian.
  3. Thanks for the info, when it rocks up I'll check it out and let you all know. Man, I can't wait, Type-M or not. Thanks again, Adrian.
  4. Heya all, I've been toying with the idea of getting a stock rear bar (R32), and having the 'SKYLINE' part of it light up at night... I went to a custom bodykit manufacturer, and he reckons I could use a belt sander to shave the letters off from the inside, because of the indentation on the letters. Alternatively, if that doesn't work, then I might have to sit down with a die grinder and do it all VERY carefully! If i slip up just once, it will ruin the whole thing Then I would need to put a perspex sheet behind it, and seal it so its watertight. Then just run a couple of globes from the rear lights to it, so it comes on with the lights. If I angle the lights right, it should light up the entire sheet of perspex, if you all know how perspex reacts to light Kind of hard to explain what I'm getting at, but if you use your imagination, I think it will be a worthwhile mod - would also give all of these used R32 rear bars a new lease on life! Can put all sorts of colours through it, or even use a multi-coloured neon with colour selector in the cabin. It's bound to set one 32 apart from another, and that's what it's all about, in an age dominated by BN kits and Vertex bars. B) I've got a few other crazy ideas on mucking around with 32s, if anyone cares to hear 'em... Adrian.
  5. The Nissan WHAT? Software? How do I get a hold of that?
  6. Heya Mario, Adrian here, I rang you earlier today (or yesterday, as the time zone suggests) about the clutch kit for the 32. I got your bank details no problemo, and will get that out to you as soon as possible, and god willing before the end of the week. Just thought I would formally let you know on the forum, as I've now joined up. I'm only waiting on a mate of mine who owes me money to pay me back so I can get it across to you. I'll sms you to confirm payment made, and post here as well just to be safe. Thanks again, Adrian.
  7. Heya all, As the topic suggests, I just put a deposit down on a 32, looks to be mainly stock (only exhaust and slight bodywork). It's an auto, but will be converted to manual. It has the blue-face gauges, and the stock wing has been replaced by a GTR item. I've got a few questions to ask of you all who know much more about 32's than myself, being new to the game. First of all, how can you tell if it's a 'Type M' or not? I've heard mixed signals but nothing conclusive. Second, and this is mainly opinion, whats the deal with owning a 32? How do they hold up driving everyday, out racing on the track, or winding through the hills? I haven't really been for a belt in one yet behind the wheel, but am teaming with anticipation. I'm also getting the stock GTS-T indicators replaced by GTR items to continue the illusion All I know is, it's going to be a long-ass month before this car arrives from Japan and gets done with compliance and what-not. I can't wait!
