  1. If people don't get the money they want, they just don't sell it to you, simple. What are you gonna do about it?
  2. Pics of racing split dump and front pipe in one to: [email protected] Thanks, Adrian.
  3. Yeah, it's a legally binding contract. But if his details are dodgy, it won't matter. And when you consider how easy it is to create accounts on eBay and bank accounts with false details, it's a real jungle out there... If I was buying something like a car, I would want the address where the car is for inspection and registry check before anything else. I've had a few poor encounters with eBay members myself, including still waiting on a high flow cat from a certain seller...
  4. For sale... Greddy Gear Knob same style as one pictured, comes with backing plate, clear plastic cover and the other two coloured caps. The red cap is on the gear knob right now, and the original glue backing paper is still on the blue and silver caps. Direct fit on nissan, screws onto shift thread. Great feel and smooth shift due to counter-weight shifter. Currently on my 32, and I tried it on my bro's car (N14 SSS) and it fit that too. Selling as car is parked in the sun, and it gets too hot! Looking for $45 delivered, or I'll keep it as a souvenir. Brand new is around $60ish, so I figure the 2 months usage has cost me $20, with the extra $5 for postage. And this way it turns up on your door. This is in as new condition, and the only difference is that the red cap is on the shifter already. I'll even staple it back up like original, and you won't notice any other difference. If I could park here somewhere cool, I'd probably hang on to it. Please PM if you're interested. Thanks.
  5. If in doubt, go without
  6. I like your thinking Triskillion, but 1 person isn't going to be enough. We need unity before anything else. We need to get every car enthusiast, whatever they're into (turbo, V8, rotatry, etc) and make a stand, once and for all. Like you said, if this was happening somewhere other than Australia, there would be riots. They stand up for their rights in other places in the world.
  7. Yeah, there's normally a nut on the centre bit you can adjust, but it doesnt seem to be there on those ones, very strange. I'm yet to hear of HKS making non-adjustable SSQV's, but maybe I'm just hard of hearing. Might wanna verify that they're genuine HKS, and if they are, I guess just use em the way they're made. Maybe they're non-adjustable because it's for a twin turbo car, and they wouldn't want one BOV to be blowing off more / less than the other. So maybe it's a good thing, I dont know.
  8. SOLD to me!
  9. The riot is bubbling...
  10. I'd take the PS2 with normal controller and GT4. You can keep the rest!
  11. Yeah, I know where you're coming from, but at the end of the day, it is an older car. It's not that much faster, and it's going to be more prone to repair being an older car. I love the 32 shape myself, but if I could get a 33 GTR for a little bit more cash, there would be no argument.
  12. Heya all, I'm after a PS2 in reasonably good condition with a dual shock controller, memory card, and GT4. With the PS3 in the works, I figured lots of people are going to want to sell off their PS2's and upgrade. So if you've got one you'd sell, please let me know.
  13. It means if you haven't contracted to buy it yet, don't.
  14. Heya, Got a strong fuel smell when I start the car. I've done the open fuel cap trick, and it makes the pressurised pssssh sound, so I don't think it's a fuel filler cap leak. I've also had a look and smell of the engine bay, and can't pick anything up. I'm thinking this might be related to my stalling problem. Preliminary thoughts for inspection are to check the fuel pump itself. I've gone as far as removing the four screws in the boot and checking the bit underneath, but it's all dry. Might even be a hose running from the tank to the engine, I'm not sure. Haven't been able to get it on a hoist yet. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.
  15. Sounds like ur air flow meter is on the fritz. Check the plug is properly connected, and that it's clean inside (especially if you're using an oiled air filter). You might need to clean it out, using an electrical contact cleaner. There's a post about this somewhere, cos I had similar trouble myself. If you want further info, just ask.
  16. Disconnect power terminal on battery. Press brake pedal about 4 or 5 times, then reconnect power terminal on battery. Wiola!
  17. Sweet, this puppy must be quicker than I thought.
  18. You're on late buddy. Can't sleep?
  19. NGK have iridium ones for it, BCPR6EIX-11 is the code you need. There's a seller on her by the name of 'caz'. Look for her, she'll hook you up.
  20. Yeah, my vote's in for getting a mechanic who knows what he's doing.
  21. Yeah, I know the feeling. I spent 7 years at uni, and had to drive a crappy old mazda around. In the meantime, all my mates working full time have evo's, wrx's, skylines, etc... The joy of being a uni student - I better get a Lamborghini one day just to get even!
  22. Do what you like to a 32 gtr, short of dipping it in gold, and a 34 gtr will be worth more (provided it's not a burnt out shell or something stupid like that). Simple economics buddy.
  23. Get the greddy turbo kit from perfectrun.
  24. My good man, always get these 2 things in writing, cost and time. If they refuse these details, for WHATEVER reason, it's an indication of dodginess. No matter what business, they can always estimate a cost and time. Even if they quote pessimistically, if gives you a guideline to go by. And if they aren't heeded to promptly, issue legal proceedings. Simple. Might sound like a lot of hassle, but it prevents the hassle you're having now. And don't listen to anyone who says you can't get a cost and time quote, because you can - in ANY business. Trust me, this is my business!
