  1. Just a quick insight. The bathurst track has been changed since the quickest time was achieved years ago, and furthermore taken into account how long the GT-R's were lapping compared to Murphy.....think you can work the rest out. Most cars are quick if you invest the correct number, but it would be better thought to have both cars lap the same course in the same year and make the statement.
  2. ^^ Put another vote for boostworx
  3. As a guess, like mentioned either AFM, or like i had in my other turbo car the pipe to the intake manifold where the silicon hose joins to the intercooler piping (pipe on the RB20 that goes across the engine) was completely off. So check for general air leaks....if its that its an easy fix. Hope you find it soon. Other possibity due to experience from bro's car was due to an added BOV. But that is more due to the installation and the type of BOV installed.
  4. This sounds like fun
  5. Diddo. Spent an hour alone looking at posts and the banners and not sure at all which one to pick. Some that i favoured in no particular order were: 2, 8, 11, 13, 18, 20
  6. Could be browser related. I used firefox the first time and it wouldn download. Then tried it in Opera and it worked. Not sure with IE. Also, first link is closed, used second one for 92 bathurst
  7. As long as the first and last letter are in the correct positions
  8. As wonderful a thought that is......no Its the RB25 head on a RB30 Bottom End. My engine bay consists of the original RB20DET
  9. Greddy Timer, Position behind the centre console (can't see it from the front). i.e. Wires straight from the back of the steering wheel -> behind console, seems stock. If ever need to get it hand just goes down and its right there Ashtray is good -> many people i know in 32's have it positioned there and certain authorities haveny been able to find it
  10. these cams are to suit a s1... need these gone guys open to reasonable offers cheers alex
  11. hehe....someone else has seen the add What can it be? Like mentioned earlier, look at what gives you the power = engine. Do you notice any different sounds when driving? when parked in an enclosed area with the car running does it sound like there are noises you haven't hear before? Analysis is the first step into fixing a problem (and before anyone says it....this is AFTER realising the problem )
  12. I'm located in Adelaide. I got the whole engine package done at the same time with the car off the road. Couldn't break the 350 rwkw mark so going larger. I'll get back to you on all those answers ASAP (after work) Cheers Alex
  13. That's screwed mate!
  14. Bump. Any questions may be asked, more than welcome to answer.
  15. If particular (shifty) people in some workshops install it then there isnt much an immobiliser is going to do. I still reckon a Club Lock is one of the best things to have, and specifically a good quality one! THe only time i never had it on my other car was the only time ive ever had a car stolen, the same night my dad reminded me to use it....thankfully it was found within 20 minutes at a service station trying to fill up petrol! (I owned a VR4 Cordia Turbo back then). Another thing you can do is remove a fuse when you get out of the car (depending on the length of time you are gone), or produce some small fuse like adaptor where you can just take one fuse out or even something simpler to the fuel pump. It'll have em confused for ages -> If they have a truck......well, i'm still yet to figure out to prevent that except for parking it in a shed and on a really hard angle (which takes about a 20-point turn to get out ). You can also install an alarm yourself if you're handy with electronics, that way you're the only one that knows the whole configuration straight off (given its not a generic alarm) Good to hear that the car was found. Any idea on the condition?
  16. I'll agree to that also. Gives myself and others here to get our cars back in proper working order
  17. Unfortunately not, went to what i call (from where i lived at the time) dingo woop woop Mawson Lakes, UniSA. It took me an 2 hours each day of travelling (hour each way)
  18. Haha....is it a she by any chance?
  19. Try and be there depending when i get paid and if i have the time to put my car into Boostworx to get the boost leak fixed (which is seeming to take forever)
  20. Crud...sorry to hear that Madaz. From what i know obviously the space saver stuffed the ratio between the front tyres and the rears through the 4WD system, happens alot to people with 4WD's hence they usually 99% time have a spare that comes with them of the same size. Hopefully its just the front, if its the transfer case and the rear then maybe..maybe it will cost abit. If its just the front then Tangles will be about right with 3K. Luck with it
  21. Tried all the careerone.com.au and SEEK.com.au websites, they automatically updated me when i was looking for a job. I'm finishing my last BUGE subject at the moment for Comp. Systems Engin. with Honors and i just got a job as an Electrical Engineer. In short, read the advertiser alot and keep a sharp eye, my mum actually spotted the job that i now have. Seeming im a graduate i think you shouldn't be to far off (having experience). Career as F1 driver........ Did Go karting when younger, drove dad's superkart...he raced F3000 over seas and open wheelers in Europe - Problem being we don't have the same backing as those overseas (sponsorship for 1 year - 300,000)...Craige Lowndes is a good example, good talent, just not to the standard over there, not the 'correct' backing. Drivers over there are much better than he, with exception of Mark Webber...... thinking about it, supercars are cheaper over there.... so that could help them Spotted: Alot of R33's, mainly white down the bay, or along the Marina section. Silver R33, and also a silver GTR along Tapley's road and a black stock looking (P-plater) GT-R
  22. I think spotted SECRET, was behind me when i turned from Morphet Road onto Bray Street (along the racecourse) around 6pm. Was in the white R32
