Have fun guys! Wanted to enter this but still running in the engine
-
Hey Steve How did the lap-times come out? Noticed you were given it a little
-
As per above great day and good to see the rain hold-off! Good fun and the car lasted the full day of thrashing (most likely due to low-boost limitation).
-
Don't need a fire extinguisher, unless somethings change. Have one in mine but that was due to time-attack and Mt Alma where it's mandatory. Edit - Remainder of payment + $50.00 for timer paid.
-
Couldn't resist could you Steve.....lol
-
Agree
-
Will pay the remainder for both myself and R2R_GTR (old fella).
-
Paid deposits for both myself and Old fella - Description: DC GTST & R2R GTR Will also grab a lap-timer please.

...I'm not one for flames...but yes, that's my Old-Fella's GTR (I've tried convincing him to change to a carbon-fiber bonnet) - so you weren't totally cooked by the sun, but if it helps makes two of us! But you won't hear me complain, as compared to my 32 gtst the Old-fella's leaves mines for dead Feel for those 2WD's around some of those corners!
-
Definitely provisionary, missing a few people. Good to know made it in the top 17 time-wise in the old-fella's road-registered 32 Just need the final results now Good work Mark and Luke! And all those that entered!

Well wouldn't say 54 with those mods, tyre spin was all that slow Definitely remember the car as think your mate had the read soarer? Was great weather for it! Cheers for the head's up on the 35, definitely not good lasting half a run Them's the brakes...

Hey gdawg, which 32 were you? Was in the gold 32 GT-r (dads). First time there myself, was hanging with Mark (Jenkies) and a few mates. Agreed, going back down after the first run really show's you how steep the track is. Did see Migas out, did you know if it was his car or another white 33 that was on the flat bed truck? Noticed it on the way down. And regarding the black 35gtr not sure, but there was abit of smoke coming out from under the engine bay when it passed us at the top on the flat-bed truck - not sure what though, no physical damage external damage. Will be back out there tomorrow!
-
I'll be in the Old Fella's R32-GTR (the gold one). Diff issues still Josh or other? Can't wait to see Jenkies car out there!
-
Know about x5 people who'll be up for this...possibly alot more (direct mates)
-
Put me down + 1 for the old-fella (R2R-GTR)....If not away OS or site, will be there.

In short without going through all the details, re-wiring the engine-bay while the car is getting a re-spray and the engine is out. Had a few issues with the way 2-3 workshops have wired it up in the past so deciding to get 'disgusting' wiring done properly. Did have someone lined-up but unfortunately his co-partner is retiring leaving him to run the normal everyday business and not focus on complete cars. Cheers 4door - can you pm the contact details? (or I'll just find the online/on here)
-
Looking at re-wiring the car and replacing all the individual looms. Any suggestions of decent auto-electricians or companies that do this? Did have two options but both are unable to do so in the near future. Cheers, Dan
