  1. hey mate i have one, i can change the kms to whatever you want... the taco sometimes randomly flickers but if yours is ok you can cange it over... what part is wreaked in your cluster? i could just send you that part?? give me a pm if interested.. they are very easy to pull apart.

  3. yeah its not connected, but that has not been connected since i got the car.. what does that sensor do? i wonder why the light is comming on? it must be shorting on the body of the car where i tucked it up..

  5. today i put my car back to basic stock put my stock turbo back on and since i did it a warning light keeps on flashing when i drive... and i am wondering if i have done something wrong?? and what does the light mean?? the light flickers on and off when driving but when i am stoped and idoling it does not come on.. the light is on the right hand side of the dash. it is red and apears to look like a cat or radiator with heat waves above it??? it is one of the lights that comes on when ign is witched on.. does anyone know what this represents? thanks leigh.

  10. i ended up getting the last 1 out.. i usually can get them out fairly easily but this one was stuck in good!! welding the nut on the end worked very well.. it failed 3 times but the 4th time i got it.. welding the nut on the end works very well if you have the tools available to you.
  11. hey all i have a very stubburn snapped exhaust manifold stud that i cant get out!! i have snapped 3 extractors and the stupid thing wont budge!! any helpful tips would be great.. thanks leigh
  12. hey all i am after these parts, maybe more.... from a series 1 rb25det. - CAS - Igniter box for coil packs - Cam covers top and bottom (still need the bottom) - Harmonic ballencer. - s1 manual computer - s1 wire loom will pay for postage to melbourne. thanks leigh
  13. i thought the bolt pattern was different and the ajustable camgear does not fit.. cant remember exactly but something to do with 4 bolts or something.. so you can put a rb20 inlet cam in it and then you can bolt the ajustable cam gear on..i cant remember.. i will pull it off the rb25 on the weekend and have a look.. the reason being for all this is i bought a rb25 that was in a front accident.. it basically came with everything except whats on the front of the engine.. so all pullies, cam covers water pump.. all smashed even the backets on the block that hold the water pump on.. but i do alot of fabrication work so i can fix all that... i want to be able to use everything from the rb20 to replace what is missing which from alot of searching i am 90% sure i have everything i need.. i dont care about the engine number... a couple of questions regarding this.. the rb25 is a series 1 - using rb20 coilpacks.. and the little box on top of the coilpack cover? - the sensor thingy that bolts to the outside of the cam cover on the exhaust side of the cam..??? - alternator, powersteering pump, aircon stuff, etc i know this bolts on.. - the main drive for the belts that goes on the crank.. along with harmolic balencer.. etc.. ???? - upper and lower cam covers..?? - maybe the sump if i cant fix it... the only thing that is ok on the front of the engine is the oil pump and the cam gears.. lol. everything else i need to replace salvaging as much as i can from the rb20 i already have... i know this sounds like alot but everything else is with the engine.. i only paid $500 for it so i think it was worthwhile and i dont mind a little project.. any help would be much apreciated.. i think i have most of the loom so i am still summing up weather or not to go for a rb25 computer but i dont have it, or to do this and get the rb20 computer remapped.. i have r31Nismoids old gt30r waiting to go on it along with all other goodies... i am hoping for around 300rwkw...
  14. cant put the cam and timing covers on because of the VCT, the cover has a large bulge to get over it.. yeah RB25DE did come out in late model r32's, many people have told me they have got away without the engineers because of this.. the engine number does not say DET on it so thats what has made me think i might get away with it... engineers is only $450 depending weather or not the breaks need to be changed.. wich i dont think because i have a type m. but.... would it be worthwhile taking the VCT away and running ajustable cam gear on both the intake and exhaust?? then i can put the rb20 covers on... will i get any loss out of doing this?? or would the car run better anyway? i have heard that rb20 inlet cam needs to be put in to do this, is this true? if so is it an easy process, straight swap?? thanks leigh.
  15. as the title says i am just wondering where i could get documental proof that an rb25 did come out in a r32 so that i can show vic roads for my conversion. thanks leigh.
  16. the .82 housing i have heard will give you full boost by around 3700 to 4000 rpm depending on cams, exhaust, tune, etc... it is different for every car, i think the .82 is the best suited for an rb25..

  18. as the title says i have a gtr front bar. i dont know how to fibregass so i am buying a different front bar.. so this would suit anybody that knows how to do basic fibreglassing.. i know that these bars retail around $550 so this is a very cheap price!! i am located in melbourne so would prefer pickup as i think it would be to fragile to freight. the damage aint that bad as you can see in the pics, apart from the main damage there are a couple of small stone chips and cracks here and there.. but definatly an easy fix for somebody that knows what they are doing... NOT FOR SALE ANYMORE!
  19. hey just wondering when u get sent to epa to do the tests for emissions, can they tell if you have a larger engine or if your engine has been stroked to a larger capacity? or are the tests just to check air/fuel ratios and that? thanks leigh
  20. if you did the dyno run in 3rd gear the readout should be higher than usual, not lower.. so have you sold the turbo seperate, or does it still come with the car for $1700? thanks leigh.
