  1. willing to seperate the turbo? how much would u want for just the turbo?
  2. i use a 45mm pro gate with the 14 psi spring and it holds perfictly.. i have also used the $22 boost controller to bump it up to 17 psi and it held perfictly... but havnt tried to raise it anymore... have you had previous success with the setup you are using or is this the first time it has been put together with a new setup??

  6. i have had a "cheap" one on my car for over 6 month now with very heavy driving and has not skipped a beat.. the tie rods will bend well before the bar...
  7. yeah they are so hard to get off!!!! i soaked it in wd40 like 5 times then tapped threads in to pull it off.. snapped a few bolts but it eventually came off..
  8. i wouldnt bother with getting a ecu yet, it will do nothing.. get the turbo on it first.. you only really need a ecu if you are going for a bigger than standard turbo and larger injectors, etc... spend the $1300 on turbo, full exhaust, cooler, etc... before you even think about the ecu...

  10. all good i have orded a new cog from nissan so i will just have to put up with it untill i recieve it.. just thought there might be an easy way to get around it while i wait... i guess not, thanks for the help guys.

  12. hey all, i have a r32 gtst and my water temp guage has bassically stopped working.. i had a spare cluster so i took the water temp guage out of that and put it in and it still didnt work... i then tried changing the sensor.. i think it was anyway... it's located on the inlet manifold where the top radiator hose joins.. there are 2 sensors.. i believe the one with the larger plug is for the ecu and the other with just one wire is for the guage.. bassically the guage will only go up 1-2mm not even past the C.. any help would be good.. thanks leigh.

  14. the SAFC works fine, took it off my car about 2 months ago, my car with a very tired rb20 made 200rwkw with it and other supporting mods... i cut the wires about 200-300mm from the unit, so you will have to extend them but you still have a fair bit to play with. thanks leigh.

Hicas lock bar to suit r32/s13 (4 Available) $60 delivered Rb25de bottom end - missing oil pump otherwise complete... i have heard they are the same as a rb25det just different compression ratio and does not have oil squirters, otherwise they are exactly the same.. this is in perfect condition!!!(i can get pics if people want) $150 Datasystem EFC i believe it is a piggyback fuel computer but unsure.. it came out of an r33 i dont know how it works but is does work.. i dont know where the wires go either.. pics can be provided... $50 i also have a complete RB20DET that i am selling in bits.. i took it out on the weekend to make way for the rb30det. was still running fine.. ask what you want... all prices are firm and located in sth eastern subs Melbourne, i am willing to post. thanks leigh.
  17. i got some 6inch split speakers cheap off a friend and have installed them in my r32. i dont think i am going to bother putting the tweeters in as i dont know where to put them and dont want to cut holes, etc.. my question is can i just run the speakers and not the tweeters and can the speakers run with the wires straight to them or do i need to still go through the crossover box thingy?? i think they sound alright but i aint into sterios that much should i put the tweeters in to?? where have other people put them without doing a hack job?? thanks leigh.
  18. ok then i dont care if u dont believe me.. it happened to me that why i am saying this.. all i am doing is trying to stop what happened to me.. now i cant find another r33 cog.. but yeah this is definatly the best way to fix your speedo and will only cost you $40 providing you do EVERYTHING you have to do!!.. -get the navara speedo drive. -put the r33 20 tooth cog on the end -cut a new slot 180 degrees to where the location slot is then use that slot to locate it.. then you will have a working speedo... provided you do eveything you are suposed to do and the cog doesnt fall off... just want to add.. you can use a gtr cog.. i dont know how many teet they have though.. the groves are cut in the opposite direction but you just cut the bottom of the cog off and put it on upside down, then it is cut the same way as the r33 cog... just make sure it sits at the top of the drive..
  19. ok just wait a couple of months and your speedo will stop working and when u pull the drive out to cheak it you see that all the teeth have ground away... grab your r33 drive and the navara drive and put them side by side and if u really look hard enough you can see... or get them side by side so they are facing exactly the same way and you will see the locator is on the oposite side of the assembly... i swear i speak the truth.. it happened to me!!!!! and now i cant find a new r33 cog
