I have just sent my powerFC over to Japan to get repaired. They have replaced the chipboard and sealed it all up as a 'new' unit. The downside is this took 3 months and I couldnt have the car off the road for that long and bought a Haltech in the meantime. Looking for $1300 including postage anywhere in Australia. Is it wired to the bonnet release pin that you can see in the bottom right of the photo. It may be the wire that sets the alarm off when the bonnet is lifted and alarm is armed.

Yep I could be. Might be interested in a full rebuild kit pistons/rods/studs/bearings etc if the price is right - just buy it all at once.

Correction - You are right (sorry was late last night when I was looking at this). The scale gives MORE detail not less. Anyway I am not going to argue about this, next time the car gets dynoed I will ask for a 0-300 and 0-7000 rpm scale.

Power is dropping off because thats is when the tuner released throttle. We have not reached full potential of this turbo, tuner reckons it has more to go, but on a stock bottom end I did not want to push things. When my new engine is built, I will up the boost a bit and see how things go.

I will get CHRA # soon, will be taking photos in the next week or so to put together all the details. I know the little plate you are talking about.

VERY NICE, great welds and looks very neat. Top idea, I have wanted to have this done for a while - may get something similar to this done when I take my dump pipe off to get some copies made soon.

No pics of the turbo off the car, can take some of it installed, and when the first batch are done in the coming weeks, obviously we will be taking lots of photos...

PFC stores top speed for each trip, got mine to 242, but could have gone a bit more (not on public roads obviously) I recall there was quite a difference between PFC and speedo reading
