  1. It is the skirts I want fixed actually, ill see if there is anything written on them. Thanks
  2. Haha when I lived in Canberra two mates of mine got sick of shit from a cabbie and in the wet one of them in the back seat covered the cabbies eyes and the one in the passenger seat grabbed the hand brake - did a nice slide through the round about. After that the driver was fairly quiet and they got home without any hassles. **i do not condone this sort of behaviour**
  3. Yes needed if not a snug fit as already said. When I got my car it had aftermarket rims with no hub locators - gave savage wheel shake over 80kph. I couldnt find any to fit so I took the rim off and machined some up to size in the workshop. I dont have access to a proper workshop anymore but I am sure someone could machine some up for you if you cant find any to suit. Most of the ones you buy are nylon/plastic i think, I made mine from alloy.
  4. Are you serious mate? Good luck getting anything even painted for less than that price let alone fitted AND supplied. I like the drift/stealth wing follows the lines of the car nicely and makes it look nice and sleek.

  8. I can tell you that it is the only time i have ever WANTED to see flashing lights and hear a siren behind me...All they had to do was a little chirp of the siren... I was thinking "either way I can lose my car here" Choice of being impounded and losing license or possibly having the car stolen if I "ran"...at least if its stolen I get a bit of insurance money. The more someone wants to race me, the slower I drive - sometimes I rev them up a bit and then wait at the lights and let them go. It seriously looked like 4 or 5 people in the car - how many cop cars have 4 people in them (unless they have already caught someone).
  9. I was driving through redfern tonight on my way home from work, i dont like sititng at the lights there so as soon as it went green i gave it a boot around the corner. I hear a screech of wheels behind me and a dark plain commodore is right up my arse. At first i thought "cops - im done" but i looked back and it appeared to have 5 people in the car. At the next lights he revved the engine a bit, i took off very slowly and indicated to turn right at the next lights, so did he so I took it off and went straight and he did too so I was definately being followed. I took about 10 back street turns and thought it might have been guys trying to hijack the car or find out where I live to steal it later. I turned the other way and drove away from my house and eventually the guy gave up and turned around. I called the cop shop when I got home and said i wasnt sure if i was being followed by crims or if it was the cops checking me out. I told him what car I had and he said that they were waiting for me to be naughty. I am glad it was the cops and not someone trying to steal the car - but I wish they put their lights on instead of following me through all of these back streets - i was so close to running to lose them.
  10. Does anyone know if the factory plastic body parts (front bar, side skirts) etc are made from the type of plastic that can be repaired by plastic welding? I have found a place that can do it IF it is the right type of plastic - does anyone know to save me taking them in for noting? Thanks
  11. Thanks mate, i am sure an auto elec can prob. work it out, would rather take it to an authorised dealer if they exist.
  12. I have a Power FC in my R33 gts-t. When it was tuned, the tuner found that the power FC hand controller port was loose (this gave a really rough idle as the power FC was acting like the controller was being plugged in, unplugged over and over again). Is there anywhere that is an authorised to repair the power FC? There were two pins through the circuit board around the port, we weren't sure if they were meant to be soldiered together or if they were meant to be apart etc and did not want to soldier it the wrong way and blow the unit as they are especially expensive to buy these days. Any help would be great. Thanks
  13. where are you located? Do you have the stock side skirts?
  14. I think he was referring to a quick break every 2hrs so the drive does not get fatigued. Good advice
  15. definately could have been this one, looks very clean and neat. mine needs a respray, new skirts, new rims etc...
  16. haha cheers, whoever it was gave it a boot through the lights. I am having a very short break from performance mods and looking at cosmetic issues so looking at a lot of body kits/wheels etc.
  17. Few basic ones im sure you have already thought of : tire pressure, spare fuses (just in case), check the spare tire too (also just in case), bottle of water in case she gets a bit hot and LOTS of CD's nothing worse than a long trip with the same 2 CD's over and over and over and over again... I will be doing the reverse soon, driving from syd - brissy then putting the car on a train from brissy to cairns (cheaper to train from brissy than to drive and saves some k's)
  18. No one owning up to this? Looked and sounded nice, would like to know a bit more about the car.
  19. Will take side skirts, pick up from Sydney. Thanks
  20. Saw white series II R33 heading off tuggers parkway onto livingston i think its called at about 7:20pm tonight (turning right at the start of Kambah).. Who owns this? Looked very nice and clean, nice note too - i would like to see more pics - the front bar looked stock-ish maybe a tommy bar or similar i only caught a very small glimpse ...looked much nicer than mine though
  21. Anyone?
  22. Do they have to have that cutout for the carbon canister?
  23. Wow prices have gone up - used them over a year ago
  24. Leon from security in motion is awesome, he put an alarm in my car last week - do a search on the forum and you will find he has an excellent reputation, dont think ive ever read a bad thing about him and the best part is he comes to you.
  25. Thanks for that - no sensors or anything, just dont have a harness as it was hard wired into my setup. Any idea on what its worth? Not sure if it is genuine apexi or just apexi style - looks pretty good to me.
