  5. thanks alot for the help! im trying a mates 32 gtr adjustable rear on for size today... guessing the bar will be too short. smokey, ill get onto him now cheers!
  6. was thinking gtr. might call and ask the measurements. just want a cheapish solution for some bracing. since I put coilovers in she's a tad flexy coming into driveways etc..
  7. I've done some searching but couldn't really find what I was looking for. I know greddy made these strut bars, but are now discontinued. I also found cusco still make them. but I was wondering if anyone has used anything other than these? something from a different model Nissan. I've been told that r32 mounts may fit but will need a custom bar. I'm keen to save some money and not pay $250+ any help would be appreciated.
  8. mine did that, it was a seized hand brake cable. could even be the caliper..
  9. looked mint on sundee, bloody nice car!
  10. I've sent an offer in pm.. no reply.
  11. those wheels would loom good on whatever they'd fit on. being 11&12 inch wide with -31 offset, it rules out almost all standard cars.
  12. I'm keen for a pair of gun metal and pair of white. pm me your bank details and I'll et asap.
  13. good to see some 31sc lads
  14. interested to know what you did to make the stagea look like that, pretty keen on doing it myself tuff car mate!
  15. sounds good south is more familiar but either will be great.
  16. I haven't submitted an entry yet but if I do, I'll be keen as. thinking about sending one tonight..
  17. any SA guys entering their stags into all japan day?
  18. the reason why I swapped is because 2 friends of mine both blew headgaskets in the chase for 300kw. this was my personal reason. but like you said, poor tuning could be to blame for what happened. I just didnt want to put everything together to then have to replace a h. gasket.
  19. lol this is good. bit of an entertaining read. nice change from just m35 talk I get excited thinking someones done something to a c34 when I see new replies...
  20. loving the mx5 mate. heavy yes, not sure exactly but I'd say you wouldn't get much change, if any, from 1800kg. cooler, zorst, nistune should see 200rwkw depending on boost. internally these motors will handle ~280-300rwkw with a metal headgasket and headstuds (proven in my other car) I'm relativly new to stags myself but a dayz front bar from my favorite wrecker set me back $500. although if you hunt, parts can be found on the forums or eBay. but as you can imagine these arnt the most common cars so colour of parts might not always be what you after. diff wise, shafts are smaller compared to gtr, but there is a thread floating around for a gtr diff swap.I've found mixed opinions on pulling the front shafts out. I haven't done it myself so I can't tell you from personal experience. should be able to find more info searching. hope this helps, i can't post links as I'm on a iPhone.
  21. who was filming? should chuck up the footage
  22. I had a good time, great to see some stageas together. some really good roads along the way. nice to meet you guys! can't wait for the south cruise
  23. i think the m35 with a couple degrees less camber in the rear would look great. however that cedric is a little over the top
