  1. Well guys i hope some one can help......i have an R33 GTR that stops dead just over 180.....What is the easiest and cheapest way to remove the speed limiter.....I searched forum for 100 pages and found talk of cutting wire 53 on R32 and talk about R34. I have heard that reomving a crew on back of cluster does the job.....i am sure there is a simple way to do this without resorting to piggy back ECUs and gizmos etc Can anyone give a definate solution thanks
  2. I don't want to burst your bubble but i am a complier and from when our R32 test car arrived until we had it passed and ready to rego was 5 months.....don't expect to see your car on the road before the end of March and most likey April. The proceedure goes something like this Sample car arrives Day 1 prepare evidence and comply car and submit to DOTARS 2weeks (if you are good) DOTARS schedule inspection of vehicle in 6 weeks at best and up to 2 or 3 months At inspection Items are raised that the complier must reply to and resubmit to DOTARS another 2 weeks. DOTARS assess and approve vehicle for compliance another 2 to 6 weeks We allow 6 months to get each new modle on our system Any complier who would encourage a customer to purchase a sample car and tell them that they would have it on the road under under six months from purchase in Japan is being down right irresponsible.
  3. This has been an interesting read and we might all have egg on our face if KGB buys leewahs car......if he is serious he would own it BY NOW.....please tel us if it happens Leewah...but i dout it My biggest concern is how do you all feel living in a country with a knob named KGB protecting it.........
  4. i had a nissan urvan with a 5 litre ford on nitrous ....not nice in the wet.....but scared the sh** out of everyone (including me) at the lights....it ended up up near tamworth When i was younger and sillier i put a 454 chev into a HR holden. And before that a 250Cube Falcon 6 in a Morris Minor Put a 350 chev in a 240 Z.....and also a 350 into an XJ6 Jag Just finished and SR20 in a rodeo Can't help my self......What i would like to do is put a 13b in a Morris minor...any takers A vg30 in an EH holden would be nice too
  5. tof you must have your hand on your tiddle that front bar is a perfect example of blending new and old and it certainly beats veil side styline or the AU Falcon for looks If you think you can do better ring Skoda.. they have a job waitng for you
  6. Yes....But cheaper option is to look after it and sell it to the next p plater and buy a turbo'd car
