  3. Just wondering if anyone knows the best way to crank over an RB25DE without starting it ? Something quick and easy to unlug of disconnect. Was thinking about pulling the Fuel Injector fuse. Anyway, some options / opinions would be great. On my old R32 RB20DET I just used to unplug the ignition control module. Cheers.

  11. As per the title, I'm wanting to buy a Cooling System Pressure Tester and I figure there might be few people here who know what's good bang for your buck at the moment etc. So, what have you got and how much etc, etc etc ? Thanks in advance
  12. Yeah, but what's JC / AAMI's service like ? Do they screw you over when you make a claim or something ?
  13. There seems to be heaps of people who hate JC / AAMI. Are they really "that" bad ???

  18. Yeah, just insulates what ever you wrap to keep heat in or out. It's just that you can vary the thickness of insulation depending on how you wrap it. At the end of the day, it's no miracle product but it's very handy for certain jobs and very hard to come by. Single wrap for medium insulation and tighter areas. and Double wrap for heavy insulation and more open areas. You would of course secure one end and pull the wrap tighter as you go along so it's ot as lose as in these pics. Also, I would not recommend using it on an exhaust or anything that gets that hot.
  19. I'm pretty sure 2 are dash 10's and 2 are dash 12's. Can't remember what the brass ones are but I'd guess they're similar.
  20. OK, that makes more sense. One of the times I was marshalling a whole bunch of people went past at the end of a session and gave the thumbs up and 1 car went by very slowly with a thumbs down, so I'm guessing you were'nt the only one with issues Matt. Could you hear the knock as Matt went by Chris ?
  21. So "that's" what the thumbs down was all about ! I wasn't sure what happened since I could'nt hear the knock. You just drove past slowly with the thumb pointed south. All I could do was give you a thumbs up in return because at least you were "driving" back to the pits Hope it's all fixed up soon !
  22. Lap after lap after lap after lap after lap.......... Impressive to watch him attack the flip-flop ! lol.... So that was you ! I did a fair bit of flag marshalling just before the flip-flop and all was pretty boring until some bloke in red BMW went flying over the flip-flop into the big dipper. But instead of re-appearing on the start of the main straight, all I saw was a giant cloud of tyre smoke. Was the only time I got to wave the yellow flag frantically But don't worry, I won't tell anyone it was you 100% agree !!
  23. Had an awesome day !! I forgot just how much fun OPGP could be ! Loved every part of the track except the straight ( damn N/A ). Huge thanks to the organizers and club execs for the subsidised event Great to see all the usual faces and meet some newbies. SO many of the newbies have just become track addicts lol.... Standouts for the day had to be ( in no particular order ) Chris ( MX5 ), Adam ( R34 ), Dunc ( Hairdresser spec Z ) and whoever was driving that blue / purple EVO for their relentless attempts to tag every ripple strip on the track at full noise. Plus that 8 iron powered 32 ( merli ? ) that sounded and went so well Cheers to Nick ( GoldZilla ) for the limo service. I could get used to that ! Can't believe I did so well to keep up with everyone ( except for the straight ) while bubbleguming the tyres and getting brake fade, and still keep my car on the black stuff all fat and happy only to do the following while putting the car to bed at home. This pic looks like I was actually in the game on the straight  Agian, huge thanks to all who made it such a great day ! It "was" going to be my last play on OPGP...........
