  1. Do you have a number for SWT? Or can you tell me the full name of this company? I couldn't find a number for SWT when I tried. Cheers, Ben.
  2. Count me in!!!
  3. Imossible was an over statement, it is damned awkward though. Do the WRC cars also have less turns for full lock then a street driven GT-R? That would make shifting up while turning easier. That ring system that the Pug runs sounds awesome!
  4. Your ability to comment on the financial status of other members on this board is bold, many on here can afford one, whether they choose to spend their money on the latest GT-R is another thing. Many choose to spend on real estate instead. As an owner of a GT-R I can assure you that they do go sideways as will any car in the right situation. I do agree though, a GT-R is about grip and going sideways in one not the most common of activities for mine but when I am sideways I do like the ability to shift up a gear if needed.
  5. If my insurance would cover you I would lend it. Mine is worth $35k to me if it gets written off, which is fine by me!
  6. ever had a flappy paddle gearbox equiped car sideways? when your hands are only a blur as you adjust steering angle it makes changing up a gear quite impossible. H-Pattern for me any day. /caveman out.
  7. Mine hasn't missed a beat since i bought it. The fuel consumption is high because of my daily use. But when I need to I can put the pedal down and I am away, and that to me is worth every cent! I would like to get a S14 or Ceffy for a daily driver though and keep the GT-R for more special occasions.
  8. Update: A few of us may be a little late due to the Riverside Expressway being closed due to a hairline fracture. This info was handed to me and I can in no way verify that it is correct other then the express way definately being closed.
  9. Hey Ben, Come down Dipswitch Road, turn right into Old Cleveland Road (where Brisbane Street Machines are, has lots of Skylines forsale), then follow the road all the way until you see a McDonalds on the right, at this stage you are very close. You take the second left then the first right. There is a Red Rooster across the road from Nando's.
  10. Excellent, I have booked the tables, I booked extra spots so anyone keen on coming please RSVP if you can!
  11. Jason, before spending money, locate the pins on the mobo for where the ATX power switch connects and try shorting them with a screwdriver and see if the board powers up, I have in a few cases seen ATX power switches fail and the symptoms are the same. It is a long shot and a rare occurance, but certainly has to be worth a go. Another and more likely problem is that a MOSFET or CAP has died on the mobo. But you never know. I assume you have replaced the PSU with a new one? I didn't see you specify that in your post above.
  12. Count me in, If anyone needs help finding the place let me know.
