  8. Welcome to Brisbane and I hope to see you out some time. Come along to one the regular Tuesday dinners and meet us and the 'hot spots' can be explained in more detail. Don't be offended by any of the previous posts, its just the new guy hazing and people are weary about the unknown asking to know where all the hot spots are for fear of said person being a cop. The generic hot spots which often have a high level of cars and presence by 'The Fuzz' are as follows. Milton McDonalds. Aspley McDonalds. Broadwater Car Park at the Gold Coast and basically anywhere on the coast at any time on a Friday or Saturday night, there are punters wondering around doing laps all night. The Spit car park on a Sunday arvo is also packed out and gets plenty of police attention.

  19. Well, good news. It is the sender unit. The car had 90PSI at cold idle. Now to find a cost effective replacement, I hear the nissan genuine units are $220 odd. A big thanks to Dan (3lit3 32) for taking the time to drive 45 minutes to help me out.

  24. Gday All, As of last night my oil pressure guage will read normal and then randomly and independent of rpm, will drop to almost 0. When the engine rpm is increased the pressure will rise but not as much as normal. It is reduced by about half of the normal readings at any given rpm. I am wondering whether it is a voltage issue or guage issue or worst of all, an actual oil pressure problem. Any insight into this problem is appreciated. Car is a 1989 GT-R. Cheers, Ben.
