  1. Hi Chris I will be interested on your thoughts regarding the shift light. Clinton and I have these sitting in the garage for our R32 and R33 track cars that we are building.
  2. They look to be two stage springs do you know what the spring rates are? Do the springs have a part number on them so that you can find out the spring rates from HKS? Where are you located?
  3. Put me down for one for a R33 GTS-T. Please let me know when you require payment of the deposit.
  4. Interested in the undertray - please PM me your contact details.
  5. Any idea what brand it is? Pictures may improve your chance of a sway.
  6. Yeah - sounds like the core of the cat has broken up and is rattling around. I had the same problem with my GTR and depending on how the pieces were sitting it either sounded crap or was quite loud.
  7. The 180 km speedo is standard equipment in Japan for new cars. The Nismo speedo and / or complete cluster is an after market replacement that is simply a plug and play upgrade. The components in a GTR cluster and Nismo cluster are interchangeable and in my case I transferred my GTR tacho to the Nismo cluster as I preferred it to the Nismo tacho. If you go for a Nismo cluster shop around before you buy as you can same hundreds of dollars on the same item.
  8. Hi Titan it was me in the silver R33 that you were following. It seemed as though your car came on boost when you passed the 4WD because you filled my mirrors big time but it was all good. Thanks for the company on the run home to Wollongong from Sydney.
  9. The Putty Road cruise was a lot of fun as usual - a good chance to catch up with some old friends and to make some new ones.
  10. When you consider that it only weighs 500 kg it would be nimble and handle very well - like an open wheeler with sheet metal.
  11. I have a 2 litre bottle of Motul 300V Competition 15W50 oil for sale. It is the top of the range motul oil, which retails for over $55. It is brand new, never been opened. Selling for $35, located in Wollongong, NSW. Pick up only. I wil be going to the Putty Rd cruise, so if you're in Sydney I could meet up with you then. Contact me via pm. Charles.
  12. Slim - save two seats in the pub for us. Payment of $40.00 made with a reference of Victory and Clinton.
  13. How much for the power steering reservoir posted to Wollongong NSW 2500?
  14. The Viper looks great - it has come a long way since the early pictures of when you received the car.
  15. You need to ensure that you have the same ratio in the front and rear diffs. R32 GTS4's run the 4.375 diff and R33's run 4.1 in manuals and 4.375 in the autos. I am not sure what they run in Stegeas but it would be critical to get it right.
  16. You have PM re the Series 1 wing
  17. This is my Pedders experience. Had the wheel alignment done on my R33GTS-T and it came back with a large scratch in the left rear quarter panel - which they obviously denied doing. Had a great fight with them when I asked them to use Gary's (Sydneykid) settings for the wheel alignment - they did it but with much complaining and probably resulted in the scratch. Prices are very expensive - 12mm camber bolts Pedders = $115, Whiteline $79 The only thing going for them is that they stock front ball joints for R32/R33/R34 GTS-T's.
  18. Chris this is all about the overall diamater of the rim and tyre combination and is best explained by the attached Toyo tyre chart. The standard Skyline tyre size is 205/55R16 and has a diamater of 634mm and this means that any tyres that are between 619mm and 649mm are legal on your car. Some common tyre sizes that guys run are: 235/45ZR17 644 255/40ZR17 636 235/40ZR18 644 265/35ZR18 644 The other interesting point is to try and find common sizes that are sold in larger numbers as the unit cost will be lower (eg on my R33GTS-T I run 245/40ZR18 on the front and 265/35ZR18 on the rear and the 265 are about $40 cheaper per tyre). 19. This thing looks even nicer in the flesh. With those lap times it just proves that you do not need buckets of power if your weight is kept down and with good set up you can make up the time in the twisty bits. Is it the 1.6 or the 1.8 motor? The 1.8 produces more mid range torgue and an engine swap could be an easy power upgrade.
