Item: pocket bike, shit condition. hate the thing. broke down after 2 hours of use. DONT BUY "NEW" POCKET BIKES FROM SOME UGLY DOdGEY PRICK IN DELAHEY!!. i am not sure how much it would cost to repair the motor. looks good atleast. but is SCREWED! good for parts if anything at all. Asking price: $75 or nearest offer. pick up only reason for selling: want $. dont want items as i have i new pushy racer. i love the thing... make me an offer...
  4. do all turbo timers require the car to be in nutural???? when i - eventually - get a car. that will be one of the first things i do to it...
  5. id say your best bet is going to your local repco or autobarn and asking what theyve got... i dont know if a particular brand would suit your line more than others... ...at least i try to be helpful.... <_<
  6. yay... thank god im not the only one defending the case of clear taillights... and although i would sooner own a skyline... i recon some lancers/ hondas look acceptable....? ^_^
  7. ahhhh.. if i was a little less ignorant i would have picked up on the sarcasm.... sorry to ruin the joke.
  8. hmm. please all correct me on this one, but i didnt even realise that 60 pounds of boost was possible without turning the engine into molten metal? (or some other serious damage anyway)... whats the "ball park" limit before a car would decide its a goner? and yes. i hate full-of-shit-gimps too...
  9. theres nothing wrong with rice....
  10. "dont armourall your steering wheel....makes it slippery. lol" ahh. yes.. thats a good point dezz. ..its been a while since ive owned a car...
  11. you can get that stuff at autobarn or most auto shops. comes in a little spray bottle (if its the stuff that i think it is) and the bottles colour is mostly orange. you spray it on the vinal of your car and rub it in and off. gives the vynl and seatbelts and all that shit a real pretty finish. for those who love to keep their car immaculate all the time. (yay! im being helpful!) oh. and im pretty sure its under 20 big ones ($) but if not, theres no way in hell its over $30...
  12. "not every one hates r32's " word.... (its all ive got to say cos i need to know the difference between the r32's and r33's aswell)
  13. gidday fellas. back in the day (this year actually... im on 18) i had a ford laser ghia. 1984 model.... thank god ive gotten rid of it com to think of it... but i was always keeping an eye on the fuel consumption and i worked out that i was getting about 10kms per litre... and although i was driving the thing in the high revs (usually) and it had leaky piston rings (or whatever it is when the oil get burnt as well as fuel) thats pretty ineficient for a "girly" 1.5 litre engine... wouldnt you agree? let me know what you think...
  14. hmm. ive said this before but i dont know much in about the wonderful world of cars. but my research has shown me that r32's have less muscle, (but the gts-t r32's are legal for the victorian p plater) thats all i know. at least i tried
  15. "must be manual and under 100,000km's" to be honest with you, im no genious when it comes to cars (which is why i joined aus: to learn) but from what i have heard, it seems that most of the cars have had the odometer reversed or whatever to make it look like the k's are low...? but dont take my word for it cos its only speculation, not actual fact. James.
  16. i see your point. where i come from rice doesnt necasarily mean "powerless" just a certain style. but your point is a good one...
  17. thanks for your help all. f**k me blind i love this site. i cant wait till i am the proud owner of the riciest beast in the mornington peninsular.... oh the possibilities. special thanks to ruffryder. you champs seem to know all... i like that...
  18. thanks ladies and/ gents. im still in need of finding the weight of the r32 gts-t cos i found some specs but not all. is it likely that they would be under 1.28 tonne? because that would be the absolute min weight they could be before they are a high powered vehicle. (apparantly they dish out 160 kw at the flywheel) cheers.
  19. whoops. found the link to "things to look out for" thing. so please ignore that part of the question. but does anyone know if its legal for a victorian p plater to drive a gts-t? cheers.
  20. hi there everyone. im interested on buying a gts-t (up to about $15000) and was wondering if those of you who know all would be able to help me. i wanted to know if on the gts-t's there were any mechanical things that usual fail on the various models that i should look out for or anyother helpful info that you could give me would be greatly appreciated on the gts-t's. Also. im a victorian p plater and was wondering (and still wondering) what the power to weight ratios are on the stock standard gts-ts. i know that the limit for my kind is 125kw (at the flywheel) per tonne, but dont know the specs of the various models. any help would be greatly appreciated. James.
