  1. Theres no compliance places up here that I know of. As for workshops, there's prolly three or so. There's one performance part store that sells the brand names to all the F'n'F kids up here. It's definately a niche maket thats starting to pick up quite a bit.
  2. anyone after some R33 weathershields? They're the little tinted plastic shrouds that attach above your windows. I'll get a few pics and post em up if anyones interested. They're in good nick and i'll include some new double sided tape to attach em with. They are a genuine Nissan part so fitting won't be a problem. $100 + freight.
  3. Sorry mate, I haven't got any other rims to put on it.
  4. just gonna keep it, i miss not spending money on it....
  5. they're a nice wheel mate, here's a pic on my series 2 for those trying to imagine them. still gotta get it lowered, i hate the 4wd spec look i have now. I'm in the market for a set of 35 anniversary 350z rims now. good luck with the sale, its a damn cheap price. tyres alone cost over $1000.
  6. G'day all, In an effort to use up as much bandwidth as possible, I'm starting this thread for all those lads and ladies out there who appreciate a nice exhaust note. I have always thought of the exhaust note as one of the most important aspects of a truly awesome machine. Whether it be the spine tingling howl of an F1 car, the smooth roar of a racing 6 (ie. the great RB ) or the deep rumble of a big cube V8. This is a vid of my gts-t, currently its got a X-force front pipe and a standard exhaust from the cat back. I'm looking at a CES cat back but its a little way off yet. I do like the idle though, and its almost silent at cruise, so it's a pretty good compromise as it stands. So come on people, get off ya arse, go and make one of your own vehicle, or dig up an old favourite. Just be sure to post em here so we can all appreciate it. Cheers PS: if ya have any tips on keeping the size of the files down, let us know. I can only do vids and they're pretty big so it does take a while to upload. 000_0754.MOV
  7. There's a bloke up north here thats got a HQ Monaro that he has done up to look better than new. Anyway, he has the car in a sea container thats filled with nitrogen. He purges it every few months or so. He's also got a dehumidifier hooked up to it to stop the rust. As far as i know the thing is completely air tight and has a window built in the side of it so he can keep an eye on it. He has had the motor lightly oiled but apart from that there's no fluids in the car whatsoever. He's got the thing on stands with the rims and tyres are still in there along with all the other bits and pieces that go with it. The container hasn't been opened for about 10 years or so and it prolly won't be opened for another 20. I would love to see that thing the day he pulls it out. It'll look bloody mint. If only I had enough money to do up a R32 GTR and do the same..... Just thought i'd throw it out there while we're talking storage
  8. Its a RF Punch P28S4. Got it from autobarn, from memory, I think it was about $219 on the sticker. I managed to get it down to $199. Heres a link to the specs of the woofer.... http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/products/pr...01&locale=en_US
  9. Here's what I did. If ya have any questions just PM me. I have a RF 8" sub in a sealed box above the fuel tank behind the back seat, had to move the HICAS computer to fit it (just unscrewed it and slid it down beside the sub, wrapped up in some foam) but it all came together nicely, great punch for such a small unit. I like having a useable boot still, can fit a rather large suitcase in there without it even touching the amp. Access to the spare is also no drama.
  10. this is my pride and joy, its a work in progress. badly needs a wash, lucky silver doesn't show the dirt too much
  11. just plain old water will do the trick. good luck
  12. Yeah, go out and pick up some 1200, 1500 and 2000 grit wet and dry from supercheap. Also grab some sort of polishing compound and a few rags if you don't already have them. IMPORTANT: ~Make sure you use a lot of water while sanding, you will get a much better finish~ Now, starting with the 1200, give the lens a light rub all over. Remember, water is your friend. Do the same with the 1500 and the 2000 grit. It will look matt, but don't panic. You should be able to see if you have taken the scratches out or not. Just keep sanding until they are gone. Wipe all the crud off the front of the light (there will be a fair bit). Grab a clean rag and your polish and go to town on the mofo. It should start clearing up in a few minutes but keep polishing until you're satisfied. If the scratches are still there, just repeat the procedure. PM me if ya have any questions. Enjoy!
  13. It's your VTEC y0!
  14. Man I should be out getting shitfaced and chasing chicks rather than reading this pointless shit. Oh to have some disposable income. Woe is me.........

  16. http://www.nearlygood.com/video/gixxerkart.html 'tis awesome Gixxerkart, I want one!
  17. I had an oil smell in mine, turned out the the rubber seal around the gear stick had perished letting gearbox oil fumes into the cabin. replaced it with a CV boot from the wreckers, only cost like 15 bucks. no more smell. or you could just install a short shifter. might be a possibility
