odd question, my collant is overflowing normally into the overflow tank when the engin is shut off but its not drawing back in when cooling. imusing a 1.3kg cap which is the highpreasure cap, is this likley to cause an issue for basic driving? shoudl i revert to the nomral 88kpa cap? -

ok good news. heads fine. coolant looked a bit... off colour so well flush it and keep an eye on it. you never know their might be an underlying problem but for now she's running sweet again. im over spitfires and ignitors so I'm now running R35 packs. much simpler. problem solved. cheap outcome is a good outcome. now back to working out how much to spend on bushes and coilovers. -

thats what we suspect however the rb guru had a few hesitations and wants to test a few things. check the new plugs, comp test ect so I'm hoping hes just being cautious -

woohoo cars developed a missfire which rapidly became undrivable when warmed up. possibly head gasket/ fluid in cylinder type thing...possible coilpacks...possible ignitor.... possibly just the wrong temp air in that part of town...ok now im just hoping for the best. *BACK TO THE SHOP* nanananaNANANANAnananana -

yeah im going to be much ...happier and setteled driving it now i know the engine has no suprises . then having everything nice and tight and new in the geometry, steering suspension, then new tires, refresh brakes and then ill look forward to a future paint job. but yeah having a car that just drives correctly without the increased chance of lunching an engine. i really should consider new turbos through................rinning stock 🙁 -

ill do the bushes too, just do all of them i guess, unsure on how much to budget for that, that might dictate my coilover spend -

actually i still have her. just had the engine pulled out and refreshed, full major service, replaced everything, deleted hicas, spent bit stacks of cash. soon to get new coilovers and do all the bushes. i want to have it drivable at any time and its been dormant for so long it needed to eat some money -

i owned a 70 series... luxury it is not. that being said it was over $100k... and also didnt have lct as it was commercial. but the LCT should be 100k and over these days. many many family sedans and wagons are over 66-70k. and although they are a nice comfort they are not luxury.

why would anyone fake a simmons wheel? they are cheap shit anyway. even the old ones which were actually simmons arent worth restoring really?
