i run a td05 and i get boost from 3000-4000 @ 1 bar a 32 highflow comming on that late sounds odd. have you hade it tunes at all sice the new snail?

buffing is a whole other thread, covered allot of times, af far as clay, if you EVER hear a squeak or squeel or scrape stop because i have seen tiny grit get cought then just fark up paintworks. make sure the car is as cleas as you can get it with propper wash and shammy

ok this is what im thinking THIS WEEKEND ONLY IM SERIOUS O_o $10,500 AS IS $10,900 with gearbox supplied reciepts and all $11,200 with new box fitted again will all receipts advertising it everywhere for $10500 aswell so lets see what happens.

Ok well spent a bit of money on her today, took it into the workshop and has the idle valve replaced and some minor things adjusted, when she was in I asked them to replace my thrust bearing in the clutch which has been noisy for ages. Worked out it was the input shaft bearing in the gearbox itself, Could not be arsed pulling the gearbox out and opening it up just to replace one thing and pay for all that. Made some calls and Neil from Adelaide Jap Dismantlers did me a price through my work for an imported very low km gearbox. $550 outright, normally $700 changeover keeping my spare gearbox. so I had that picked up today and My workshops fitting it Monday with new red line fluid, so spent close to a grand on her all up, thinking about keeping her again, I'm in two minds.

whats a gearbox recon worth, just a 20det 5speed, not a highpowered car or money pit, just a secondary project car, just needs to be done at a decent price, decent time frame.

who/ where in adelaide should i go to have a skyline gearbox either rebuilt or bought and installed, preferably an exchange arangement? got a 32 with a stuffed gearbox which i am hoping to have taken out and a 2nd hand one exchanged in, maby rebuilf the stuffed one depending on cost differenced. looking city to north, nothing south

so if i need just the boost gauge to replace my greddy electronic gauge will the gauge and sensor be all i need or do they need a control unit?
