  1. Quick shitty update, Couldn't fit the wheels last week, got a few things to do to get them on. They seem to have a weird ring, lip on the inside of the bore hole, which may or may not be too small as well. My last wheels i had hubcentric rings so i didn't conciser the new wheels maybe being to small. odd as these came off an R33 GTR... either way were gonna get them on the lathe and correct this shortly. also, side note, to me this looks waaaay to rusty and shitty, im replacing the brakes soon but does the hub look far to shitty to you? Anyway, im assuming that im going to have to do some guard work to properly fit these badboys especially the rears, and i have removed the inner guards on the fronts recently anyway. fronts are likely to need spacers to clear the brakes with these faces, probably not too fussed about that as i may want to push them outwards a bit to match the massive rears but once i get the bores sorted we can actually do a proper test fit. here is my current wheel which i thought were wide at 9.75".... and this is it compared to the rears at 10.5"
  2. thats HighBeam your looking at from a phone camera, hey im not here to sell a product. if i had the choice of standard globes vs led i would defiantly prefer to actually see. the optics designed in the 80s are not my cup of tea so yeah im defiantly looking to retrofit something better. and i would recommend anyone with projectors look at retrofitting the whole unit. why stick with very very poor light output? H1 vs H4 is more to do with the connections, the question as i read it is more to do with the LED system vs halogen. but hey man, if you dont want to use them im not gonna have a go at you, im just putting forward my experience with the options asked about.
  3. check my cars thread bellow, page 10 i think
  4. Excellent advert, I'm sure this will sell immediately /
  5. Mine are H4, but much of a muchness
  6. i have had them in my r32 gtr for years, i love them, set up properly they work very well, they seem to get allot of keyboard hate but when their setup properly they work very well with no "blinding" bullshit. the reason i went for LEDs is because i dont like the shitty blue tinge light of HIDs and their are NO good options for ordinary bulbs. their just rubbish for R32s. i would like to go retro fitted HIDs but i have N1 lights so not really an option and quite expensive.
  7. also interested in which brakes these are.
  8. whats the rules with R33s in the us, i thought it was a nono?
  9. i was actually going to buy a set of flat faced panas from import monster but they sold on me. so i was searching the net and found an old ad from a bloke who took them off his R33 gtr in London. i flicked him a fb message and got talking. i took a leap of faith and paid him in full and got them shipped over. weird thing was no one had ever even inquired on them, never got a sniff. so i got them relatively cheap, fright was a killer though, but the overall price was reasonable. so hard to find in 18s, especially in good offsets and in re-conned condition.
  10. yaaaay they arrived in tact., gonna fit them tomorrow once i clean them up 3pc panas in 18X9.5 and 18x10.5
