get your wallet ready if you want to do it properly. this is what you should expect to need in the next year. -do the obvious, new oils and fluids/ filters throughout. spark plugs (copper), coilpacks (splitfire or oem) -grab a spare CAS, AFM cos your gonna eventually need to at least replace them or rule them out wen you get a missfire. -brakes, good tires ect, i feel allot of people miss the obvious things before putting shiny things on the car. -pull your rear subframe out and so all the bushes and rubbers at once (get a full kit) and check the condition of the shocks. trust me at some point your gonna eventually putt the rear sub frame out so just do it now. maby look at swaybars or upgrading the shocks/coilovers depending on their age, then you can set the whole thing up to your driving style. -all coolant hoses, this includes all heater hoses. bitch of a job but once you replace one your gonna eventually do them all and its easier doing it once, especially if your paying for labor. if your serious about maintaining these cars to a high standard then you will spend plenty of money before modding anything, i usually upgrade what im maintaining, i.e. if im gonna spend $1000 on pads and rotors, why not upgrade to brembo calipers and spend $2000 all up, i know im gonna eventually do it. also get some picks up! -

sounds like coil packs maby, if its ok when cool and shit when hot... they would be my first go to. if it brakes down when driving randomly then its fine i would go to the maf connector but i doubt it. if your fuel pump noisy? are you getting good rail pressure? -

trying to fit a nardi wheel, cant figure out the bosskit situation. the part number for the boss kit i have been supplied is a saas BK190BL it seems to work well with the steering angle censor, as in the boss kits universal bolt alignment for the nardi sits the censor at 1oclock instead of 12oclock (12oclock being correct for a late model and 1oclock being correct for an aerly model) so thats fine, and the part number is correct for the 32gtr... but its just not deep enough to actually house the steering sensor locators. does anyone know the correct part for a deeper bodies boss kit? -
thought i would revive an old thread. cant seem to find what i need to find searching. im fitting a nardi wheel with a saas bosskit which has the holes to properly house the two plastic parts for the steering sensor. the bosskit has 2 sets of universal holes for different wheels to adapt, for my wheel to align it is on a 30deg (ish) angle to the locators. this is easy to fix as i just turn the locator to suit keeping the wheel aligned with the spline. will this cause issues with the steering sensor and hicas? does this need to be inline with the spline or does this just start locating electronically on start up in relation to where it started from?

by the time the us can import them (10 yrs ish) your not gonna get them at $100k. their minimum $70k now for something reasonable under 100km and $100 for something nice, give it 10 years and then letting the us market loose. (this is just looking at carsales right now, nothing under $70k as i type) we have seen r32s go from $15k-$12 rise to $25-$35k add on inflation.....your gonna be well above $100k in my opinion the R33 will be the interesting one -
