  1. Mate get learning. Good on ya for trying. But get as much help as possible. Read heaps but i would get a mechanically minded friend or a mechanic to guide you. Pay them for their help but do as much as you can yourself. Remember pulling shit appart is easy. Putting it back together is hard. Harder the less knowledge you have. But hey baptism by fire why not. Baptism by gtr fire..... keen. My gtr cost me 2000 in its first month and thats didn't even take me off the road I havnt had any major issues yet but their not cheap for anything.

  3. fuel tank wont be rusted as its plastic in a gtr but the lines could be. fuel, just lik eoil and brake fluid will start to hold water/ separate, congeal so on. it then rusts the components around it. everything will be ceased to a point. you are best to strip the motor down atleast to the point of all pumps, lines, coilpacks, plugs belts ect and turn the engine over by hand to see if you get resistance. this is way before ecus and fresh fuel ect. do a major major service and inspection at very least.
  4. yeah i have had the khumos previously which were a good feeling tie but very noisy and to be honest i didnt get many ks out of them, they were at about %30 when i took them off. i do daily ks so i thought they would have lasted longer. and they did wear evenly so i dont think they were premature for any alignment issue. will see how these fair. but at $150 a tire for 265/35/18 i dont mind having to buy new tires when need be aslong as they do their job. i did try and get some reviews on them but there is very little info out there about them, are they new to the market?
  5. fitting up now. very happy with how they fit with the guards. as its a daily, i have gone for the cheaper goodrides as suggested. good looking tire, will see how they fair. will get good photos soon

  7. with a little delay, these will be off the car early next week, was waiting for my new tires to arrive. can be inspected picked up shipped whatevers.
  8. even thill, with the seat all the way down the gtr seat is lower. the base is thinner though.
  9. mmm nah i had gtst seats and now gtr seats, gtr seats are lower but they dont have height adjustment.
  10. 2My 32 gtr daily has just had the exact same symptoms, did you find a cause? When cold the power is hesitant. Not on boost just on gentle power then it sudenly releases and its smooth again. I now and suddenly get it occasionally when crusing allong, it feels like it starves for fuel or air sligtly then releases. No issue at all on boost or wot. Im running stock ecu, stock engine rb26 and although i have had no issues prior and no change and i daily the thing so i know, something has deteriorated. What should i check first? Plugs or coilpacks, even injectors pumos and so on would have to give me issues on wot i would have thought? Im guessing something more electronic like cas or afms, can i trouble shoot these somehow when its such an intermittant and specific issue?
  11. what do you mean by "staggered" are they the same offset? what are the offset/s?

  14. yep, you need to keep all 4 wheels the same rolling diameter, you also want to keep this rolling diameter the same as factory. your answer has been given, if your at stock height then it will fit but will not be ideal, your gonna have an incorrect speedo
