i would say if you put a big exhaust on with a "very free flowing cat" and from that day it started it then i would highly suggest this is the cause, but if its only causing this then i doubt there is any other underlying issue. if it were me maby its time to get it tuned a little

battery/ alternator dead? grounding issues?

in reality though hop... why run a decat on the street. there is no benefit and its one of those defects which is probably warranted. also general rule of thumb, be a knob to an officer and your gonna make it worse for yourself. EDIT, beaten to it

the defect notice can be a suspected unroadworthy car, which means its your responsibility to take it over the pits to have it roadworthied.

i rented a cube in japan, my travel agent mate organised it for me but it was not expensive. they had allot of other options, sporty stuff big stuff small ext. was easy though however why not talk to a travel agent simply about arranging it. also sat nav will be in Japanese. i know this sounds obvious but it caught me a little off guard. driving in japan is awesome though, everyone speeds but is super polite and courthouse. there is literally no angst or trouble driving around.

going a little bit off topic, but a customer of ours was washing his new car on his driveway (steep) left the handbrake off and it rolled away, collected a pole and folded the rear door into the front.

no need to lie, just ask what is the maximum agreed value available and what change would that make to the premium.

when i insured my stagea i insured it for several thousand more than what i payed. the premiums were a little higher but if it got nicked i would not be in a financially negative position.
