  1. How much are you guys paying for Conoco here? Conoco Diamond use mainly group III stuffs, performance are compareable with SHU.
  2. European law dictate that their fully synthetic are group IV (PAO base) so you can be sure that Fuchs oil are the real stuffs. FYI, Shell helix ultra are not true synthetic, they are using XHVI or group III base stock.
  3. Redline engine oil comes in per quart bottle too so you could just get the exact amount and nothing more. Redline
  4. Redline High Temp ATF which is Dexron III are manual gear rated GL-4 spec too. Which ATF in the world can achieve that..
  5. Nissan normally spec Dexron III ATF, choose a good quality synthetic ATF like RP max-atf or Redline high temp atf will do you good in the long run.
  6. It's true that copper are better conductor of electricity but copper is soft and doesn't less more than 10k. The new Denso/NGK Plat or iridium plug which feature fine wire technology (0.4-0.6mm center electrode) will provide much lower voltage then copper to jump the gap thus less misfire. One disadvantage is the lower lifespan of 40k compare to 100k for normal plat or iridium plugs.
  7. For normal boost it's recommended to use 1.1mm gap, be it copper, platinum or iridium plugs. It's when you increase boost or HP you must reduce the gap (about 0.1016mm for every 50 hp you add). NGK FAQ
  8. Can't see your pics, could you repost again.
  9. Is the Pennzoil 10w30 synthetic or mineral? If it's made of mineral than that's not really a good choices for a high temp turbo charge engine. Mineral do shear and have lower HTHS (high temp high shear) figure that synthetic oil plus lower flash point too. In the long run it will coke up your turbo and shorten it's life. IMO the best choice of oil will be POE base stock; oil like Motul 300V, Redline street oil, Fuchs silkrone. Got excellent HTHS, additives package and higher flash point. 2nd choices will be PAO base stock oil like Mobil 1, RP or Castrol SLX.
  10. Check or change your thermostat, it could be stuck close. If it's a crack in your radiator, you could trace the coolant leak when you park after a drive.
  11. I second that... that's pure marketing, i wouldn't trust those mag article either. Ester base fluids like Motul 300V, Redline, Neo and Fuchs Silkolene will be very good for high temp turbo charge engine.
  12. All brake fluid from Dot 3, Dot 4 and Dot 5.1 are synthetic now, a combination of glycol ether & borate esters fluids.
  13. The best oil test will either be the Sequence IIIG test, timken, HTHS or real life UOA results (used oil analysis). IIIG Interesting site for oil analysis (BITOG) UOA
  14. I have always heard good results from Redline 10w30 engine oil, especially how clean it runs in the engine and turbo.
