Thanks for that, sounds like you saved me some greif, I allways thought they were identical turbos but someone recently told me they weren't. I thought they might be wrong cos i had never read anything like that. cheers for the help!!

I want it to purr like it does with standard exhaust, but gain some power. will run them next to each other and ad a crossover later if it sounds crap. Have a theory that the early turbo will create back pressure to the late turbo if the pipes are joined. Could be wrong, dont know too much about cars but would like to try it. sb..

Has anyone? or Doe's anyone .. know if there would be an advantage to runnning twin exhausts straight from the turbo to the tailpipe. ( each getting their own cat and muffler ) and would it sound nice ?????/ sb

I bought my R33 GTR from AJM recently, I think I got a good deal however I did have to threaten to sue them when they wanted to cancel before i picked the car up. ( probably because they had a better offer ) When i picked the car up the $400 per tire yoka's on the back were bald. Gee I wonder how that happened ......... Also the gearbox had automatic transmission fluid in it to mask some kind of problem but it seems ok now. Loving the car now tho sb..

I dont think you can fix it, i think you just have to put up with it, do you have redline synthetics in yours ??? sb..

I just changed the oils in my r33 gtr to redline synthetics and the gearbox is alot smoother however I am now getting a clunking noise in reverse that is amplified by this oil. I have been told the noise is normal though but it is anoying. Would recomend it though as it was stiff through the gears before and had a it of a whirring sound coming from the drivetrain that has significantly been reduced. sb..

the article said they got more kw's but nothing about economy or if it was safe. If i could get better economy, same power and it not hurt the car I would install a computer just so I could make it work. sb..

not sure what diff squatt is but its pretty loud and clunky.

Saw an article in HPI where they got an extra30kw by running ethanol blend but had to change the mixtures and fiddle with it to get it right. (car was a modded r32 gtr i think from memory) My gtr is Standard so cant fiddle with it i dont think. but if economy or performace is better just running premium ethanol ill change. if anyone wants the article ill dig out the issue no. sb..

Recently replaced all fluids in my R33 GTR with Redline Synthetic and since then a lound crunching sound is coming from the trans when reversing at low speed on lock. Mechanic and redline assure me this is normal and is called " DIFF CHATTER " or ' clutch chatter '. Want to know if anyone else has had any experience with this ?? sb..
