  18. Hmm can any1 here confirm yes or no whether RB engines have this safety mechanism? cheers!
  19. Hmm Sir-D thats a wee bit suss. I use to own a 1989 nissan pulsar sss before owning my skyline and one day while driving from the gold coast to brisbane my timing belt snapped on the pulsar, the cars power died immediately and i had to pull over and call racq. The next day they replaced the timing belt and all was fine. Apparently the nissan pulsar had some sort of safety mechanism on it so if the timing belt did snap the valves or pistons (im not a mechanic) etc would retract and no damage would be done to the motor. My question is wouldnt skylines have the same safety technology? By the way my skyline has traveled according to the clock 107,000K's and still im yet to have it serviced. My funds are low and i have been quoted between $800 to $1000 for the magor 100,000K service.
  20. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/GTR-Badge-for-HKS-G...bayphotohosting if any1 is interested?
  21. I would love to get my dirty little festering hands on one as well. While cleaning my skyline one sunny afternoon i noticed the outline of the following imprint G T S located on the back RHS above those sexy round brake lights (the usual spot). Its only noticeable while looking very cautiously on certain angles and in certain shades of lights. I have owned the car for 1yr now and the badge wasnt there when i originally purchased it, nor am i aware if the guy i purchased the car from who also imported the car was aware of the badge missing or if the fooker took it off himself, bastard if he did. If you guys find any info for replacing these badges please advise, cheers in advance! :sorcerer:
  22. Thats a pretty magor boo boo on their behalf
  23. Mate if you know some1 that has knowledge of the system i would query them about this. If i was you i would probably appeal the 2nd speeding fine! Goodluck
