  3. When i first purchase my NA r32 skyline it had very much the same or similiar symptons. I took it to a local Gearbox and Differential specialist to have the gearbox reconditioned. The advised the main shaft bearing was stuffed and needed replacing as well as 5th and reverse gear sleeve needed repairs. It cost me in total $780 with 12mths/20,000k warranty. I havent had a problem since. Hope this helps.
  4. Hell yeah its kick ass. So to confirm 14K in total for Car, Delivery from Japan, Compliance and RWC??? if so, i want one :sorcerer:
  5. WOW nice car, it looks and from what you've said sounds in great condition. Wondering though how much you paid before compliance and then after compliance? cheers

  12. Sweet mine passed no probs. Though when i first tried it in the shade it was reporting the same error number. Variable thanks for the tip mate it should have registered upstairs when it obviously states sunload sensor.
  13. Does anyone have a middle vent for sale? (of course in good condition)
  14. Yes obviously the middle vent in my dash is broken and i dont care if it breaks more while trying to remove it but if i was to get a 2nd hand middle vent from another GTS how would i go about removing it without damaging it aswell??? or does someone know where we can purchase these vents from and perhaps an approximation of the price? cheers in advance
  15. While your at it i need the middle vent replaced for my 1989 R32 GTS. Though some1 has told me its quite difficult to replace these things as they are delicate and difficult to remove without damaging or breaking them. Any suggestions people?
  16. Yep i have the same issues with my 1989 R32 GTS but i dont think there exists an easy fix for this kind of problem, other than replacing the dash $$$ or peeling back the dash vinyl and replacing it which would be tedious and difficult. If any1 has any suggestions i would love to hear them!
  17. Im situated on the gold coast and would love to know if someone either in brissy or goldy could offer a fantastic deal as that thread does??? thanks in advance!
  18. Hey Merlin in your previous post you mention RDA rotors so im curious if you would know anything about RDA pads? I ask this because Friday next week im taking my r32 GTS to a mechanic to have my front end rotors machined, brake fluid flushed and replaced and brake pads replaced. I asked the mechanic what brake pads he will use and he told me RDA brake pads. I asked him if they were decent pads and of course he said yes So im trying to get some feedback from ppl about these RDA brake pads to see if they are shite or not? Also guys how hard is it to flush out and replace the brake fluid? is it a difficult procedure? do i just need to keep bleeding the brakes in order to flush out the fluid completely? cheers in advance
  19. Hi guys im a noob when it comes to cars but im slowly learning, anyway i have booked my R32 GTS into the mechanics for next week because the front end rotors need machining, brake pads replaced and brake fluid replaced. 1) The mechanic states he will replace the brake pads with RDA brake pads. Just wondering if they are okay or shite for my non turbo beast? 2) How difficult is it to flush out and replace the brake fluid? 3) and finally... I guess its a straight forward process for the machining part (you obviously need the right tools). Any feedback is welcome, cheers in advance.
  20. Hi there just curious if you have a gearbox for an R32 or know of where i can get one please??? Cheers in advance!
