  1. Have you been welding; or spraying with WD40, CRC, ChemSearch or the like near any Sensors? Even smoking while working on something, on the car I mean Has a sensor got a 'coating' of something, like resin, smoke etc?
  2. Do you have 12Volts to the Motor? Will the motor run if you put 12Volts to it? I'm guessing you have a Multimeter, and know how to use it. I assumed this on a Bike Forum and they had neither....Doh!!
  3. G'day Ppl, I've done searches for intake Mods and about all I get is Turbo-ing. I over heard this some time back about this Intake Mod; and sounds feesable. Is there a simple Mod to route "Fresher" air -read COOLER Air - to the intake of a RB30 R31 Wagon. From infront of the Radiator comes to mind. Pics would be good. Thanking you
  4. Have you checked the Brushes?
  5. Isn't this Turbo LAG That's why some go for less Boost and more engine compression?
  6. G'Day Dsturbd, Would you or anyone here have an 'On Line' Fault Finding FLOWChart for a Car Acon. I think it should be applicable for all cars. R31 Aircon is struggling, as is the Driver. Bimmer A/C has died It's Hot out here, eFF'in 'OT!!
  7. Lee, I'd go with what Neill Says. Though, You might consider doing a quick turnaround in oil AND Filter changes; say @ only 1,000-2,000 Klm I change my Filter EVERY time I change the oil. 5,000 klm...............cheap insurence. To keep costs down, use a cheaper oil for the first change, NOT Bottom of the shelf. That oil would still be quite usable for other purposes. Top-ups, or in my case, use in the Donga, a Farmyard Hack-car.
  8. G'Day Ppl, Looks like I'm going to have to replace the Radiator in the RB30 R31 What are my options for a compatible [READ Cheaper] Radiator? Suitable BUT from something else. Else; what is the way to go for full replacement/Repair? This'll be the first radiator in ANYTHING for me since the last Mellenium
  9. G'Day Ppl, On my 1989 R30 Skyline Wagon the Fuel Gauge, Temp G. occasionally and the Oddometers do not work. Is this a straight swap over for a 6 way Instrument from similar, with the Voltmeter and the Oil Pressure G Or do I have to swap the Oil Sender and other things? TIA Ivan
  10. G'Day GRUMPZ, Are you looking for 1/4 Mile times ONLY? I ride a 23+ year old Guzzi which goes 'better' than it should Over the 1/4 Mile it's Soggy. Out on the twisties it Surprises a few Modern bikes Mind you I won't be going to Mount MEE or Mt GLORIOUS for a while. Hey!! I can [maybe] ride better than the bike can handle...........sometimes  It's 23 and gets better each year, recently rode Port Hedland to Brisbane via the Adelaide Hills and Wineries Hic!!
