  1. Hi GlenJamin88, They're on the car for about 3000kms. Its for an RB26DETT. It really doesnt matter as they dont even get worn or damaged. I can provide pictures however, if you're really interested. Need these gone everyone for my new set of cams (Tomei 10.8mm) Prices are negotiable!

  4. Hi Richard, 1bar full boost is approximately 3800rpm with a set of cams. Yes the -5s are the copies of the genuine hks 2530s. I've got a set of tomei poncams 260/260 9.15lift (which i can also sell you) as i have no need for them anymore. Thanks, Gordon

  7. Hi All, Got a pair of HKS 2530's with genuine HKS actuators for sale. Turbos have done approximately 3500km. Have also made 350awkw @ 20psi with them and have no shaftplay. Housing is still clean and no rust on the rear housing as older turbos will have. Turbos are currently still in the car, but engine will be out very shortly for the new motor.   9. So speaking about camshafts, who would like to shed some light on what should be run on HKS 2530s? I'm curious about which cams should i run. The head is full worked, you're talking tomei lifters, type-b valve springs, retainers, tomei valve guides, tomei 1mm oversized valves, port and polished. I bought 272/272 (in&ex 10.25mm lift). I have cp pistons, eagles rods. Would this be a better combo than my 264/264 (9.15mm lift)? How would the drive be? Would it lag more and have more top-end or just depending on tune? My car is tuned for 1.6bar at the moment and it feels quite responsive.

  12. MarkoR1, yes i am running a duel entry fuel rail.... though i dont have an 044 feeding each end I have one 044 feeding both ends!
  13. I'm surprised however you have an RB30 and you're only pushing 405awkw? Paul must be running a monster in twoogle for it to run 500awkw on rb26 bottom end? Or happy dyno? Hahaha jokess... Yeah i was thinking of keeping it with the factory coilpacks, unless theyre breaking down or something then i'll change them... Mine are only 10years old? 10years less than your R32 coilpacks hahahaha! not bad

  15. Hahaha guess we'll wait and see if he does pitch a tent and tell us what specs he was running when he had the 2530s setup. It would be interesting... I have run 350awkw before on Powertunes dyno on shootout mode at 20psi when i had Kakimoto 3.5" Full Mega N1+ Premium + Apexi Pods. Though i'm running a kakimoto regu 92z or something now, lost like 20kw What turbos are you running with the 362awkw? Did you change your coilpacks? I was thinking RB30 at the time also, though didn't want a hassle too much with the 38mm height difference, though who knows i might do it with the spare engine if i am not happy with the overall performance...

  17. Here you go, i am not at home so i can't find the one that was installed in my car. It was just sitting on the left corner of my car anyways.. 320awkw and a PB of 11.1 is not bad! I have yet to run and i have 332awkw. You're scarying me with the fuel surge now!!! My new motor is nearly finished and i don't want to blow it again right away! Hahaha.. Do you think i can run 400awkw with HKS 2530s?
  18. Hahahaha in my head, i was thinking yeah i'll keep the tank full, but the car drinks too much petrol. I always try and keep it full though only a short thrashing and petrol just sinks down to 3/4, so i am assuming it would be the same on track hahahaha! I was thinking you meant engine failure, yeah i am not sure what will happen if it dies but have only had fuel problems once! I see i see, i didn't know that. After i did the surge tank and got a EPA notice, i just took the surge tank out of my car. Couldnt stand the smell anymore, though if i knew how to run the tank without the smell i'd consider doing it again. Either way, worse comes to worse i'll run one from underneath the car or something. See how i go with the 044 in tank and take my chances!
  19. With regards to fuel surge, i always keep the tank pretty full. Usually pour when there is about a 1/4 of a tank left. However, i guess i could always keep it above half in worse case scenerio? If the pump fails, wouldnt the engine just turn off? I recall driving and the hose to my surge tank came lose, i couldnt accelerate no more and the car just gradually turned off? So what kind of pop are you talking about? I've got 800cc sard injectors, sard fuel rail and sard FPR and its dual entry so i suppose i have done the fuel system oks, however, i used to have a sard surge tank though i had petrol smell in my car, is that common when using surge tanks? I found it quite wierd and couldnt take the air pollution inside the cabin!!!
  20. On the topic of fuel pumps, whats the max an 044 can handle? I've set up my 044 intank pickup on my BNR34, looking to push around 380-400awkw on 2530s. DiRTgarage, from memory you're making around 402awkw on 98 with 2530? Any suggestions? Wasn't a lot of details on the article from HPi the GT-R special... haha!
