  1. Fireworks, vehicle incidents, nuts at the truckstop, reinforcing the stereo type to the cops watching the action...standard antilag spec cruise lol
  2. Mine worked out ok, balance and dimensions in spec. I'll get around to posting the hi res adaptor pics today if time allows Keep the faith it looks like a great build...tell me that exhaust was cheap...please
  3. I'm in negotiations for some 18x10's for my 32R at the moment, so I've done a bit of home work. +18 will fit but you will need good amount of camber in the front and too much camber (-2) OR lipped/rolled rear quarters. Nice wheels. GL with the sale
  4. Great pics Sakeman...32 crossed up yeah!!!!
  5. Paul, have a chat with Brad at W.A. Suspensions. They look after my 32 and the track a couple of 33T''s...always a few Skylines parked outside lol
  6. I don t mind the design exercise/makeover; kind predictable though. 1.3KW awsoma powa!...will it chirp second? The 300SL is appalling, luckily it looks like vinyl so it will as they say "buff right out". They were kinda tricky to drive standard, I wonder what it handles like with the new engine.
  7. The R32 GT-R was a premium variant and as such they are well built and with the proper level of maintenance, providing they haven't been abused, are a great car. If they have been modded by a muppet in back yard then there is a potential for a big bill. If on the other hand the vehicle has been modded by a reputable workshop then you shouldn't have too many problems. Caveat emptor...get it checked by a specialist
  8. 2. Nismo is in Omorikaigan, Yamanote line to Shinagawa. Easy to do from Tokyo is your staying Shinjuku etc. Top Secret is a 30 minute train ride to Chiba and a taxi to the shop. There's also a Crystal down is Chiba. Catch the monorail and get off at the stadium. 3. The Lonely Planet wont have any info on motorsports but it is useful. Akihabara, Shibuya, Ginza...all worth visiting in Tokyo 4. I use trip advisor...always a few deals to be had 5. I wouldn't, the public transport system is excellent and part of the experience. If you can read Kanji and speak Japanese...no problem. This is the link to a pdf of the JR East. Put it in one of those silicon map cases and keep it with you. The further you get away from the main lines the less English is used to describe the train or station. On the platform signs red means express, green for limited express and white means local or all stops. Always stick to the left of the escalators...right side is for walking, left side is for sleeping lol. Phone hire is good idea if you have different tastes and want to look at different things. Most of this has been covered...have a search and enjoy the experience
  9. Depends on what whp you have, but really most of the hp goes to the rear so i'd go the 1.5 in the rear first then save for the front.
  10. Welcome PJ The search button is your friend as most of the basics have been covered and recovered, make sure you read the dont get scammed and for sale rules before you start buying gear.
  11. Excellent choice I dig my TT, it clunks enough to remind you it's there but is surprisingly quiet...that and it improved the hook up no end.
  12. I've searched but I cant find a previous date when it was announced...perhaps the Beer Baron may be the cat to answer this one.
  13. ^^ From memory they change it each year...November/December and they are a little slow in making the call. If it works out with my next project I'm going. It would be great in December...off to Hakuba for some more snow
  14. Tyre wear Looks like the boys are finding out how well it goes around corners
  15. MS Paint. Save as, choose the desired type
  16. yes...does it skip the inside wheel in low speed tight turns? i.e. car park
  17. pretty sure there is no external links allowed Reported
  18. The US will end up with more 35's. As far as the older models go definitely not. Motorex imported and was responsible for compliance of 32s, 33s and some 34s with the US DOT. The whole venture imploded with beatings, stolen cars and uncomplied vehicles on the streets...would probably make a good movie
  19. I was looking for a daily driver...something small, economical as i was working in the city for around 6 months. I saw an ad for a corolla, low K's, good condition. So I rang the guy and asked him how many K's it had on it....250,000. Yeah low K's, right....for the space shuttle maybe. He hung up, go figure
  20. Not much of one hehehehe...to the second decimal place lol Standard and complete, between 240-250Kg.
  21. I havent heard of one, but that doesnt mean there isnt one around. Big bucks though if you do locate one. An N1 block wont cut it?
