  1. Right on ML. Man I just laugh these days..if they're that keen I invite them to Whoopass Wednesday. Its just a car! Golf club's a nice touch though, very Jack Nicholson
  2. Its all illegal, as Dan put it...over the roof and a cool story or loose the legs. Have a look at a street driven hotrod like a T-bucket... blacked out fenders...and the plods give them easier time than imports. *...must be something to do with age*
  3. You will be impressed mate. The difference between old tired gear and the SK spec is suprising-transforms the car
  4. mmm time machine seems to working well
  5. Cheers BB...we eagerly await the next installment of the diary. Have you bought a new camera?
  6. I bought the full SK kit for my 32R and optioned upgraded springs (Eibach 275lb/225lb). SK spent some time macthing the componenets for this kit specifically the valving of the shocks. I thought it was pretty good value especially as its all matched and delivered. The camber kit that comes with the SK setup is good for around one degree negative camber (-VE)...may be wrong. If you intend to do some track work you may want to go for some adjustable upper arms-more camber. The Noltec arms seem to have a good rep and they are the ones that i'm ordering...but they're a long lead item apparently. So if thats the way you want to go that way leave out the SK camber bushes and order the adjustable uppers from elsewhere. Expect to pay an extra $200 over the SK/Whiteline bush kit There are more than a handful of guys on this forum that run stiffer setups but most of these Lines are more track than street, but I think the SK setup is a good compromise for the street and the odd track day.
  7. mmmm I read this "post" sometime ago but as I sit here bored I decided its time to revist . Drew your level of enthusiasm freaks me out. Its just not a normal level of enthusism for Australian people, that dont wear flowing robes or believe aliens are a devine being that send messages in celebrity magazines...i wish i could muster that level of enthusiasm - but without the robes For the record the NY Times is not the "biggest newspaper in the world" unless they distribute an extra large novelty size edition..you know, like bigger than a garage door type a thing. If we're talking distribution the NYT is 37th in the world for distribution, suprisingly for me Japan seems to sport the largest individual circulation for a daily On the upside you did make a donation, so good onya mate...Finally in your honour here is a picture of a newspaper rack that is now used as a propane powered bbq...complete with Naws
  8. A little light reading from GTROC in the .U.K.
  9. No slight on the business intended but I'd stick with a known quantity-a tuner with a track record working on Skylines

  11. Deren, I'm pretty sure that the 2860R-5 will bolt up, they were sold to me as a "direct replacement". If split dumps are your preference why not go with the Trust extension front pipes a few guys on here claim good results with them although I'm told there seems to be a bit of a trick fitting them. Ring up a reputable tuner and see what they have to say. GL I Thought the 2560 was the old name and the 2860 was the new name???
  12. Looks great, very JDM..hard to keep clean, there are some LMGT1's and TE37's in the for sale section that would make great track day rims.
  13. Standard capacity 2 x 2860-5, PFC, dumps, injectors, "Spec R" Cat 3inch zaust. 430RWHP @ 1.3 bar, lag...pfft,just be in the correct gear. Go for the .64. If your going down down the road of new turbos go the dumps to...Tomei if you can afford. Ususal Suspect..theres a pair in the for sale section

  15. Qld tags on a GT-R on a Japanese rd, nice one. Great picks Russ and again well done team.
  16. As always Richard, we are jealous...hate u lots lol. Great pix...more GT-R's plz
  17. Well you could go for green canvas and cut a hole in the turret for 30 cal..lol Seriously, the exterior is faily busy so you probably want to go with something reserved for the interior to balance it all out. I'm with Adam-black interior...and i guess you could do a couple of trim pieces in dark camo to tie it together-same pattern but just with darker tones to match the black interior trim. GL
  18. The bike rules..the blog from the ^^ link made me want to wretch

  21. Great stuff guys, just shows that the local boys dont have the mortagate on engineering expertise or driver talent. Well done. I get the feeling that Richard might not be the only tourist there to cheer you guys on next year.
